I have been on 0.25mg propecia for a month now, no side effects so far. In terms of hair loss well nothings changed. How soon does anyone see changes whilst taking propecia ?

My question is has anyone had success with such a lower dose ? James, i see you taks 0.25mg propecia, any success ?

Ive decided to take a shot at propecia, however i want to limit the side effects as far as possible. is 0.25 mg enough ?

Also are generic versions of propecia effective and safe ? Im considering finpecia as it alot cheaper.

Any advice would be appreciated.

I never seemed to have any extra body/facial hair growth with minoxidil, well not any that i've noticed. And anyway women love a hairy man, sean connery style. They're just afraid to admit it ! No one is gonna get a microscope out and inspect you.

I would like to know if finasteride is only effective in the anterior mid scalp region and crown region...not at the front or temple regions ? I would have taken propecia but the website claims it is not effective up front. Let me know your opinion and if this is true.

I have recently added spironolactone 5% to my regimen which was previously xandrox 15 and 5. xandrox5 and 15 definitely gave me regrowth in the crown area. worth a shot.

hows revivogen shampoo ?

Just one other question for now...is it safe to use spiro twice a day along with he xandrox twice a day ?

And James you say spiro + revivogen is a good combo...does this mean i still would need minox for the regrowth...or just spiro + revivogen ?

I use PG free xandrox, so my scalp feels pretty much ok. Plus if your interestd or anyone reading this, using selsun blue shampoo every so often really has helped keeping my scalp in good shape. I recommend this shampoo for sebhorreic dermatitis. Not much else ever helped me.
