Using Propecia exclusively

Ever since I got my hair transplant with Dr. Wong back in April, I have been using Propecia as the sole treatment (or medication I should say, because I am also using the Lasercomb) in my regimen.

I've also been drinking lots of green tea, I have reduced my intake of simple sugars and carbs, I've been eating lots of anti-oxidant rich fruits and vegetables (primary blueberries, pomegranate juice, brocolli, etc.), and in general I have been doing everything I can to avoid foods that I felt were contributing to inflammation in my body and especially my skin. I'm not sure if any of this stuff has helped but I think it has.

But I'm sure that the Propecia definitely has helped. I know this because I am growing a small amount of hair IN FRONT of where I had my new hair line transplanted, and in the temples as well. This can't be from just the lasercomb alone because I was using the lasercomb prior to starting up on Propecia again and while it had helped to reduce my scalp inflammation overall, I am certain that the additional new growth is from the Propecia.

My scalp has never been healthier for the past 10 years or so. I hope this trend continues. My thought is the Propecia, combined with just a healthier lifestyle in general is what is making the difference.

Also, I have not experienced any noticeable side-effects personally from the Propecia since restarting. (I keep saying Propecia but I should say Finasteride, because I am cutting up Proscar pills into quarters and taking those).

Anyway, just thought I'd share that with you.

Sam isnt finasteride only effective in the anterior mid scalp region and crown region...not at the front or temple regions ? I would have taken propecia but the website claims it is not effective up front. Let me know your opinion
