Alcohol content

I would simply like to know if it is normal to experience some irritation (soreness,slight redness) directly after apllication of a alcohol based solution such as minoxidil; which then dies down after the solution is absorbed. Thanks in advance

I've had it happen to me but it went away after a week or so after using such products. I guess my scalp got used to them after a time. I try to stay away from alcohol based products but sometimes it's hard to do. The new Genisitil-R from Lipoxidil has alcohol in it...it's the last ingredient listed but I still wish it weren't in there.
