no..its not cause of generic...whether its generic or not , the active ingredient is finasteride.....and fin is fin....and as its being marketted by merck here , its aproved by them , and its called "proscar" . the only thing people are scared of in generic meds is whether the fin is evenly ...

if your hairloss is genetic...MPB..then you're wasting your time and money on vitamins. they might change the the way your hair looks with time i.e texture etc as its basically nourishment for your hair but it wont stop hairloss. if you still insist on taking vits try centrum multivit. or 'hairvit ...

hey trish, what is this i just read about building a tolerance to these drugs?

i've been reading everywhere that you build a tolerance to minox in about 2 years and it loses its effectiveness after that at which point your hairloss continues.

about fin i've read most develop a tolerance to it ...
