Hi Sam -
I read about your scalp conditions - I was wondering how you found out - did you go to a dermatologist? I have this weird scalp condition, it feels numb lately, a mild burning sensation sometimes. I've been feeling it more when I get stressed at work. I use t-gel and nizoral . I may try InFlamil since I read good things about it... DId you have similar symptoms? It worries me that I may have a certain scalp condition that may accelerate hair loss.
any thoughts?
thx

Hi NY123 and welcome,
Yes I went to a dermatologist that specializes in conditions of the hair. You should definitely do the same. I don't recall feeling any numbness, but I have felt burning sensations and itching of the scalp. I still do to some degree but a LOT less lately.
Keep us posted on your progress.
Regards,
Sam

Thanks for your response Sam. I'm thinking of using Inflamil - do you think it can do the trick? Next time I go to the dermatologist, I will definitely get my scalp checked out. I don't have redness but it does itch and burn a little - nizoral used to work like a charm but it doesnt seem to be doing the trick anymore. I've been on propecia for 11 months and I think it's slowing my loss - i had some thinning on the temples lately and i think it may be b/c of scalp inflammation - it seems that a topical could be useful - perhaps revivogen. Thoughts?
