Hi guys,
I have some questions and hope somebody has some answers.
1. Has anyone on this board used Dr.Lee's Regrowth treatment shampoo?
2. Who does it differ from Nizoral 2%? If yes, then what is your experience?
3. Can they (Nizoral & Dr.Lee's shampoo) be both used at the same time? Two days and two days and your normal shampoo on the days you arent using these two shampoos?
Many thanks
Gaga

I haven't actually used Dr. Lee's shampoo, but I think as far as the ingredients go it's a good shampoo. It contains Nizoral and Salicylic Acid. The Nizoral I'm sure you know about already. The Salicylic Acid is related to Aspirin and is useful in fighting dandruff. It also may help with seb. derm by helping to reduce the inflammation.
I never used Dr. Lee's shampoo because both Nizoral and Sal. Acid can be found in other shampoos... You don't have to mix them.
So in answer to your question about whether you can use both Dr. Lee's and Niz. yes you can, but I wouldn't bother using Niz. if you're already using Dr. Lee's.
Regards,
Sam

Hey Sam,
I have sent Dr. Lee an e-mail and he kindly enough answered within minutes with the following:
Q- Can the Regrowth Treatment shampoo be used in conjunction with Nizoral 2%, say two days Dr. Lees shampoo and two days Nizoral 2% and my normal shampoo on the days I am not using these two shampoos?
A- The Regrowth Treatment Shampoo (2% ketoconazole / 3% salicylic acid) should not be used in conjunction with Nizoral 2% (2% ketoconazole) as the shampoo can strip the hair of all the natural oils when it is used too often. If the Nizoral 2% is not too expensive and is easy to obtain, it would be prudent to continue to use it alternately with your 'normal shampoo'.

So what is the use of this Emu-Oil?
If you apply lets say Emu-Oil or any other oil to your scalp and 8 hours later you apply the 5% Minoxidil without washing your hair/scalp, can Minoxidil still penetrate the scalp very well?
Thanks
