Propecia and effects on fetus
I am 28. I have a receding hairline i would say is in stage 2. I want to use propecia, but me and my wife are planning to have a child. I know that if a pregnant women touches a pill it could have harmful effects on the fetus. Will the propecia transfer to my wife through sperm? Basically, Will propecia danger my child.

Although finasteride (the name of the molecule in Propecia/Proscar) is certainly not recommended for use by women, just handling the drug will not cause any problems. Also, you would have to be generating very serious amounts of semen for there to be any serious risk.
Mind you, personally, if I was planning on making babies, I would not use propecia either before or during the pregnancy. I think it's highly unlikely that there would be any problem. But I personally would err on the side of caution in such a case.
Regards,
Sam
