Considering I'm only a NW 2 with overall diffuse thinning and just half an inch of receded hairline, what would be the best concealer to use? I'm afraid the dermmatch won't get to the skin. Would toppik be better in my case?

If you have diffuse thinning then Dermmatch will look make your hair look great. It really thickens the hair up a lot. I have another friend that uses it and he has diffuse thinning as well. It takes several attempts to use it to really be effective with it, but it's well worth the effort. I think dermmatch is way better than toppik personally as I have used both.
