Question on 2 Topical Treatments

Hi all,

I'm new to this site and found it very interesting on the information that is discussed.
I do have a question that i hope someone could answer. i was wondering does anyone know how well "Nutrifolica" topical works? has anyone used it and gained any benefits? at the moment, i have been using it for 11 weeks now and have to say for a while i was shedding heaps on and off, these days not much shedding but still occurs. very little regrowth has occured but Nutrifolica does explain that it takes to 6 months or more for regrowth to start. The thing is i feel because of the shedding i have lost more hair than i had before and little worried to lose more. I have been told from the company and other hair professionals even at Revivogen says any topical treatment that causes hair to shed means it is only working. So i do hope it is. The other question regarding a different product that i haven't used but have heard good things on it's called "RegenHair". It is a cream based topical treatment and though maybe to add that now and then through the week as i continue with the Nutrifolica treatment which is on a daily basis. I hope someone may able to shed some light in regards to my questions.

In regards to Nutrifolica, apperently there is another product called Hair Regain that pretty much have the same ingrediants as Nutrifolica, as they are owned by the same company Herbal Essentials. Here are the links

Hi Viper,

Sorry for the late response to your question.

I am wondering why you have chosen to use Nutrifolica given that there are options available to you with more established good track records. I must admit that I don't know a lot about Nutrifolica.

I just wanted to address one thing you said, namely, that shedding initially means that a product is working.... This is certainly NOT always the case. Products can cause hair loss and shedding and NOT be working. This is not a good indication that a product is working and is often used as an excuse by bad product vendors to convince you to stay on a regimen.

Thanks for replying. The reason why i thought to try Nutrifolica was because it is all natural and do not want to resort to pills that will give side effects like propecia. I pretty much stumbled acrross Nutrifolica as it has been selling heaps off eBay for quite some time now they also have a money back gaurantee after 6months which i did email the customer service dept to verify that if it is true. It is my first hair loss product soi am not to sure if i should continue it or not. In regards to the shedding i guess you could be right that shedding is not always a positive, it is just that i asked around about it and as mentioned in my previous post at one stage i asked Revivogen and they were the ones to tell me that "it only means it is working". Revivogen sounds like a good product, i also saw it on ebay now and then, just unsure to purchase it. To give you afair idea what i am after is an application that wont lose its affects after years like i have heard that Propecia does, and a application to only apply once at night since i have a very busy life style throughout the week. If you have any tips or suggestions whichever you recommend the best way to go or help me choose a great product that will give results, it would be greatly appreciated. To let you know what stage i am at in the hair loss, i am in between the NW1 to NW2 stage. Crown is still good, it is more of the receding from the two top corners. I hope you will be able to help. Sorry, just to add one more question. When applying most topical treatments to the scalp is it advisable to rub in the treatment with your finger tips or deeply massage the scalp by pressing hard with the finger tips. without moving your fingers. I only ask this as i have heard alot of people are unsure, but i think it mainly depends on the product and how to use it if i am correct.

I have been think that i should keep using it as it has started to stop the hair loss and the hair that i lost from the shedding is starting to grow back. I have also noticed up close in the mirror new small hairs have grown more in the thinning area at the brows. I am only in my 12 week, which i have been thinking, it doesn't hurt to try the product for the full 6 months as recommended for actuall results. It can't hrt since it's all natural, however i would like to give another product a try that will work also in the frontal area so any help you have or anyone else has, it would mean alot.
