Sam, Why do you have to stop with topicals?
I'm interested because I use Revivogen scalp lotion and would not like to stop because I'm getting results. Do you have to stop using them permanently or just for a short period of time to have a break? You do use 3 different topicals so perhaps that's taken a poll on your scalp. I often think taking or using too many products may not be a good thing. Anyway, I'd like to know why you have to cease using them. Thanks.

I'm taking a bit of a precautionary measure. I don't have a clue what triggered my Lichen Planopilaris and even though the derms highly doubt it had anything to do with my topicals they can't rule it out so I've decided to be ultra cautious and stop for now. The Revivogen and Xandrox combo has worked wonders for my scalp hair. I hope to get back on them soon.
BTW, I checked with my Dad, and he claims to have had exactly the same symptoms I am seeing now, the symptoms that my derm says is a result of Lichen Planopilaris. My dad has lost much of his leg hair and some of his arm hair. He also has MPB. Aside from that he looks perfectly normal, and I never noticed the loss of hair he has on his legs or arms. Based on this I am fairly convinced that I will have almost identical hair loss as him. I also think my Lichen Planopilaris is a result of genetics and NOT a result of any topicals that I am using. I'm going to ask my dermatologist what he thinks and if he agrees I'll start up the treatments again. They have worked exceptionally well for my MPB so I really don't want to stop.
