I'm really curious about this. I want to try to get a feel of whether or not we'd spend out last dollar on our regimen, it'd be the first thing to "cut", or somewhere in between. So, when your dollars get a little sparse, do you sacrifice your hair loss expenditures?
I've spoken to a couple of hair transplant surgeons about this, and one has seen a noticeable downturn, and one hasn't. However, the one that HASN'T is at the top of his field -Dr. Cooley. So, I think being at the top makes you a little bit more "immune" to this than others.
I'm really curious about the performance of some of these hair loss companies. I know we can't call Dr. Lee and ask him -Sandman would just tell us that business was booming. Merck's stock has dipped over the past year but looks like it's maybe trending back up -but that doesn't matter because Propecia isn't tracked separately and that's just one little thing that they do.
So, we are required to look at anecdotal evidence. That means what we are doing, and what we notice happening.
Do you see price slashings around anywhere? The inflation (that's RAMPANT around here) makes that kind of hard to determine... and even though it's a bit of "fuzzy math", NOT raising prices in this time period is at least somewhat akin to a mild cut.
I know that the laser industry has slashed their priced radically, but, umm... WE caused that! lol...
Anyway, I'd like to hear your thoughts on this, and please... if you see somewhere else where this has been discussed, drop the link here because I want to chronicle this!
