At the end of the study 44% of the essential oil group showed significant hair growth compared to only 15% of the control group, a significant difference. No detrimental side effects were noted.

Hot damn... shampoo looks good too. On the bottle and in the product description, it states that the shampoo has KGF though I don't see it in the ingredients list.

I haven't looked at the page, but from the description you posted, I'm not very impressed.

That is a typical BS statement used to push fake products. It's popular because it seems intuitive. We can all relate to something which is clogged and needs cleaning. However, clogging has nothing to do with MPB.

Alopecia areata (AA) is a completely different thing than androgenic alopecia (AGA). Alopecia areata normally resolves by itself in a matter of months and has nothing to do with androgens. On the contrary, it is much more prevalent in females than males. Even if the product would significantly improve recovery from AA, it means nothing for AGA.

ayrvedic herbal oils

Ayurvedic medicine doesn't earn any gold stars in my book, for whatever that's worth. I'm by no means an expert, but AFAIK, it's a "religous medicine" and generally lacks sound scientific evidence. Toxicity is a also a big questionmark in their herbal treatments. Anyway, if ayurvedic medicine could cure hair loss, why are there so many bald people in India, considering the cure would have been known for hundreds or thousands of years? My guess: because it's pure, heavenly, all natural BS...

But still, thanks for the heads up! Other people might come to a different conclusion than me.

Interesting. I'd be concerned about the stability of the KGF, especially in the shampo..if it indeed does contain it. The price also makes me wonder...but I guess it's not nano'd.

I always believed things that help against alopecia areata may not necessarily help with androgenic alopecia. Look at my regimen, I've seen studies that say several of my regimen ingredients show good results with alopecia areata suffers, but I cannot find much to suggest it can help with androgenic alopecia (what I have). I am 1 and a half months into my regimen now, I really doubt this will do anything, but I will continue for 6 months hopefully.
