Anyone gonna talk to Dr.Lee soon??
I'm curious to know if you use xandrox15 only on hairline with good results in 6-12 months, and then switched back down to minox 5%, would the minox 5% be enough to keep or "hold on" to those hairs created by xandrox15?
Xandrox15 is a future option for me. I'm just wondering if I can use it from time to time and "boost" the hairline. But my concern is what happens when you go back to the 5% only, see what I mean...

My thought on this is that if you start to use 15% and you have good results, you should stick with it. This is because the results from minox are dependent on the dosage. So there may be some regrown hair after using Xandrox15 that wouldn't have grown had you used a lower dosage like 5%. My fear is that you would be risking losing these hairs, and weakening the other regrown hairs somewhat.
You can pose this question directly to Dr. Lee. He is very diligent about getting back to people. I have asked him a few too many question recently so I want to give him some time before I personally ask him anymore.

The reason I asked is because last year when I got the Remox I which is a minox 5% + retin-A, Dr.Klein also gave me 3 bottles of Remox II which is minox 12.5% + retin-A. While using Remox 5%, I also used half a bottle of Remox 12.5% UNTIL I widely read that it was advisable not to use stronger versions if the 5% is generally working well. So I stopped the 12.5%
So to conclude, the 5% is working well in all areas including the front and temples. So the reason I asked is whether I can simply finish the last 2 and half bottles of 12.5% only on the hairline and not "stir up" any future complications when I ran out. (I plan on just sticking on the 5% for long term).
So in short, is it advisable to use the 12.5% for a temporary hairline boost and hope the 5% will keep them after stopping the 12.5% version.

As you know I use Xandrox 15, containing 15% minoxidil, so I have the same concern as you do. I just don't know what would happen if you went to a lesser strength minox, especially if you have had success with a higher concentration over an extended period of time. I don't plan on risking my hard earned gains by using only 5% minox. I think if you have had success with 5% minox, and you are also using a good dht-inhibitor/ant-androgen so that your excessive hair loss is under control then you're probably fine, but if you find that you need that added kick, stay with the higher concentration. If you're using 12.5 on the hair line and you're having success, then I would stick with it, (or switch to Dr. Lee's 15% Xandrox). If you choose to experiment then definitley keep us posted and let us know if you are able to maintain any gains in the hair line that you had using the 12.5% stuff after switching to 5% for an extended period of time.
