Regarding Dr.Proctor products
I've heard that Dr.Proctor's products are very potent, including his shampoo. But why aren't they very much mentioned widely on the web as in comparison to Folligen for example. Is it due to his high prices?

I'm not sure if that's the whole reason, maddoc, because the active ingredients in Dr. Proctor's products have been shown to have efficacy in combating either directly or indirectly various aspects that may be involved in hair loss. I have never used his products because I think Minox combined with a good dht-buster/anti-androgen pack enough wallup for me, but before I started this site there was always a lot of buzz about Proctor's products. In the end, you have to make an informed decision by checking out a number of sources. As I said, for me, I found that other products were effective enough that I have not needed to try Dr. P's products. I think for most cases of MPB and/or FPB minox + anti-dht/anti-androgen is the ultimate one-two punch when used consistently.

Regarding Proctors stuff, its one thing to have ingredients that have proven to reduce DHT or regrow hair, and its another completely different thing to show the entire product can regrow hair/reduce DHT. Revivogen takes full advantage of this fact, but revivogen itself has never been proven to regrow hair. When you start dumping in ingredients (proven or not) you have to take into account inactivation, absorption, etc. These reasons are why FDA testing is so important. I am aware of the studies that back some of the ingredients in Proctor's stuff, but I am unaware of any studies that back Proctors entire product. Many scams will use this tactic of including proven ingredients without knowing if the entire product works, like procerin.
