A great place to get a haircut

This isn't exactly hair loss related, but I thought I would place the thread here anyway to stress the importance of a good haircut when you're losing hair!

It's critical in my opinion to get the best possible cut for your style and type of hair.

Today I went to a place called Salon Firouzi in the Yaletown area of downtown Vancouver. I met a stylist by the name of Frank, the owner of the business, and got a cut from the guy. He did an awesome job. Hands down the best hair cut I've had since I can remember. He didn't use a machine, all done by hand with scissors. And he spent a good hour, can you believe that! An hour on spent on the cut.

Anyway, the result is great and I highly recommend the place to the Vancouverites out there.

Cheers,
Sam

I totally agree with you man. A good haircut can make things look way better than they really are. I think you should post some pics of the cut.

James, I'm gonna post my 5 months post-op pics soon. That'll show the cut. But I'm not sure if the pics will show the subteleties of the hair cut. It's mostly up close where you can see that the cut is just really clean and uniform.

Anyway, I'll post the pics then you can let me know if you can even tell.

Cheers,
Sam

Can I ask who you got your op from in Vancouver? What kind of operation? Im considering getting one since I cannot get anything to work for me.

I take minoxidil 5% in the morning and xanadrox at night. I had to get off propecia because it was interfering with my sex life.

Also thanks for the tip on the haircut.
