L-Arginine VS L-Lysine

Post by melchiangmai »

I've heard both are good for hairloss.
My question is can I take both together in the same regimen or should I alternate?
Also, is it good for example to take 1 g every day or 3-4 g at once but only a couple times a week.
Thanks!

Melchang,

I'm not certain that the benefit received by using these amino acids is worth the cost for people experiencing male pattern baldness. I myself take them from time to time, but I think if you are generally healthy, these amino acids will have a relatively minimal effect.

There is evidence however that some aminos cause increases in levels of IGF1 and HGH. These have been shown to correlate with better regrowth results from Propecia. So I guess if you are planning on taking aminos, make sure you are also using at the very least a topical DHT inhibitor with it.

That's my opinion anyway.
