Article On Drug Companies
The author of this article brings up some really good points. Towards the end of the article he begins to talk about Male Pattern Baldness. It is worth a skim through.

Well I kind of feel the way he does. So far..it hasn't bothered me to the point where..it bothers me. I still look at guys who have no noticeable hair loss and look like they'll stay that way, and think- you S....O....B. But it's never gotten me down or to the point where I'd do something drastic. There are plenty of ppl(including family and friends) who have it much worse than I do..so I guess that helps.

I agree with the author that drug companies are good at marketing their products to people who don't really need them and actually inventing disorders, especially mental disorders.
I do think that baldness is something worth treating though and I also think the author is suffering from some form of denial. He did mention his own baldness. If it didn't bug him one bit, he wouldn't have mentioned it at all.

Hi Terriboy,
It's true that the sting of losing your hai is far worse when you are young and the only person out of your group of friends and peers losing your hair. However, at least in my own case it bothered me enough in my 30's that I decided to get a hair transplant to deal with it.
I guess it effects some people more than others. However, there is a LOT that you can do to help diminish the overall negative impact it has on you. And from what I have read in your various posts, it appears you're on the right path.
Cheers,
Sam
