Fullmore and/or Toppik: What's the difference?

I've tried Toppik, like it but it seemed to hinder scalp breathing and is messy.

Couvre... I've had a tube since December and it works, but takes longer to apply than Toppik and doesn't "thicken" hair. I'm more diffuse with a small crown balding spot. I also have a Norwood 2-3 hairline. Toppik was great cause it actually thickened the hair, which is what I mostly needed.

So what is Fullmore and how is it different from Toppik? Not much info on the Spencer site.

I don't really know that much about Fullmore since I have not used it but I have read reports of it being very messy and getting on the bathroom walls when used. It says that it is a colored spray that thickens hairs and covers up baldspots. Have you looked into Dermatch? Dermatch def. thickens the shaft of the hairs.

How long did one disc of dermmatch last for you? I know people are different. I'm not slick bald anywhere, but on my temples (Norwood 2-3)

Top is thinning, but hair is there and looks great with moderate application of Toppik.

You're like me then. One dermatch lasts me over a year. But I only used it a few times a week. Still, its the longest lasting and gives the most bang for the buck.

Totally thickens the hair too. (Secret, don't just apply it to the scalp, use the pad to rub some into the hair in your thinning areas as well, let it dry, then comb the hair... you'll be very pleasantly surprised out how thick it makes the hair).

My opinion, it's the best concealer by far for anyone that has at least some coverage in a given area. For slick bald spots, if they are small, you can even get away with applying it there because it thickens the surrounding hair and you can use those to generate the look of fullness. It's hard to explain, but it works really well.

Dermatch

Do you have to wear hairspray with dermatch?

That's the only way to hold toppik in and I'd rather not have to mess with it.

Also; Can you leave Dermatch in and apply minox over it in the morn and night?
I prefer to wash my hair and apply a concealer every other day.

You do not need hairspray to hold dermatch in. I would not recommend applying minox over the dermatch as it might interfere with absorption of the minox.
I used to do that every other day concealer thing too but to get the most benefits out of the minox, I would start shampooing every day.

I would say if you used it moderately everyday it will last about 4 to 6 months. I guess it all depends on what you mean by moderately. I have used both Dermmatch and Toppik. They're both good products, but IMHO Dermmatch is more versatile and a much much better bang for the buck.

Toppik can be very useful if you want to cover a hair transplant because you don't want to rub anything directly onto the scalp.
