Yeah, I was going to post a link to that article. It is interesting because it states that founder Paul Kemp was a guinea-pig in the first trial. He wants to grow cloned hair as much as any one else.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that cloning works as soon as 2010. That would be kind of SWEEEEEET.

Unfortunately, Mr. Kemp also says that he does not want to give people "too high expectations".
I think that Intercytex and ARI are gonna launch similar products in 2009/2010. These, however, will not be perfect. You will be able to grow some new hair, but not a full head of hair.
The products in question will have to be refined. Successive generations will be more effective, but I think it would be too optimistic to think that 10 years from now anyone who is completely bald will be able to grow a full head of hair. I think that will take at least 15 to 20 years from now.

He can't promise anything even if he knew it worked like the bomb. Any company that wants to go public (or is publicly traded) needs to be careful about their statements. They can get into hot water if they make misleading statements. Companies get sued all the time for that.
I think what he said about the procedure requiring annual visits is probably accurate. You can get it done once and then have to go back annually for maintenance.
Also, I wonder about hair quality for patients in their 30's and older. My good hair doesn't look as good as it did in my teens and 20's. I'm not sure if I'm excited about having any of my hair cloned and stuck back on my head
