Can we "regrow" hair without minox?

Hi Sam,
I'm sorry I have not visited your site for a while. But when I do I have a hell lot of questions eh!!
I'd like to know if there are any possibilities in regrowing hair without using minox? Propecia does not do much for me so I'm trying to learn more about other products.

Also, I've been reading a lot about how minox loses its effectiveness in a few years after usage. I'd prefer to stop it and "save" it for some time in the future. I know I'll shed what I've gained. But its better than losing it all in a few years.

In the mean time I'm also thinking of adding Revivogen and Spiro. But I doubt these 2 will regrow hair. They'll just "maintain".

For actually regrowing hair without minox, do you think a "combo" of hair stimulants would work?
Some I can think of are Folligen/Tricomin and T-Flav. Any other stimulants can you think of? Thanks.

Since minoxidil's method of action is not known to work on the actual underlying cause of pattern hair loss (the interaction of DHT with the androgen receptors on hair follicles) it is reasonable to expect that the effectiveness of minox will diminish with time as the disease progresses. Minox will only stimulate hair follicles to grow hair (by increasing the duration of the anagen phase of the hair cycle), but it will only work with what is available.

For this reason, I don't think you can stop using minoxidil to save its effects for later. This will only speed up the lost of anything that was gained while using it.

As for Revivogen and Spiro, I personally have used both of these and found them to be effective. I have also used Folligen, and while I believe it may have helped, I am not certain the effect was worth the cost.

I think the tried and true minox + fin is the best guarantee for now that you are doing the best you can to fight hair loss. If you are not using fin, I definitely recommend that you use some form of safe topical dht inhibitor or anti-androgen.

If you can afford it, you may want to try the lasercomb. I am impressed with what I have read about it so far, and Dr. Bauman recommends it as well.
