Stem Cells

I am not sure if this article is just rehashing old news but I thought I would post the link anyway. What I thought was interesting about this article was how they are looking use hair follicle stem cells for purposes besides treating baldness. Personally I think that this is great because it puts more focus into something that seems to be moving along quite slowly.

I think it's good news all around that the hair follicle stem cell research is going beyond just regrowing hair. You'd think if they can figure out how to grow a new limb or organ, then they'll certainly figure out how to cultivate new hair follicles.

I'm about ready to take my freshly cut hair and put it through the blender along with my whey protein. Better than that urine therapy out there
