I've been looking at getting something like this for a long time now and honestly I think the Rejuhair is wildly overpriced, whilst the Hair Sonic seems like a great buy it doesn't seem like I will be able to buy or use it here in Australia due to voltage differences which is a massive dissapointment considering I was so close to buying it and various other tei spa products.
Is anyone aware of something similar on the market, Australia doesn't seem to have anything.

Panasonic Japan seems to make such a device as well as a unique hair dryer which looks interesting but perhaps if someone knows of any other similar devices I might be able to give a try I'd really appreciate it.

There should be some adapter for the voltage difference. I'd email the company and see what they say.

Whilst I do believe that the simple old methods of massaging are still useful I like to draw comparison between a regular manual toothbrush and an electric one, both are pretty useful but if you don't use either of them correctly they are both useless however the electric options are more forgiving and less dependent on form and margins of error.

I have placed an order for a Hair Sonic and shall receive one in the coming weeks, just as a point of reference for anyone else, Tei Spa have informed me that as long as I use a plug adapter for my power outlet it shall be fine as the hair sonic is capable of handling both 110v and 240v.

Interestingly I have found a cheaper alternative of anyone else is interested which is almost identical to the tei spa device.

There is also a video of this device in action on amazon, it actually sounds annoying... kind like a car driving with a flat tyre

That does look similar..if not the same. I remember seeing them at Alibaba..I think it was. Very cheap- but you had to order a box of 'em.

The thing is strange when first using it..but after awhile you get comfortable using it and it feels good.

I just recieved my Hair Sonic and was eager to try it and what can I say... I was impressed, it felt great although it does get tiring holding your arm up for even 5mins strait but if you have a partner do it for you it would be much better but overall I am happy, I would also like to add that this device is not as loud as I expected it to be an not nearly as annoying as I expected it to be.

Yes it was expensive, however if for some reason I needed to buy another one at this stage I would certainly buy it again.

One thing I would have liked to have seen would be a lithium-ion battery rather than a Li-MH which tends to discharge itself whilst not in use, Ni-MH batteries also are also fragile when it comes to charging as overcharging can damage the cells... for the price it should have been a lithium-ion battery... I suppose time will tell how long this thing lasts.

I haven't had any problems with mine. At one point I was away for about 2 weeks and didn't take it with me...still was charged up when I came back. I guess we'll see long-term how long it lasts...

Yes newegg is only us, ca and china... Any idea where i can find this in europe?

In fact there is a new egg for CA and another for China but no New Egg in europe ..
Amazon.com doesn't allow to ship the hair sonic in europe, don't so I have bought the cheaper device new spa. It doesn't seem to be as good but I can't get the other one ...

There is no issue to order from amazon.com in europe. However some products can't be shipped in europe and this is the case for hair sonic. New spa is a clone... Cheaper
