For Xandrox users...

Hi there, I would like to ask from people who use Xandrox 5% (either day or night solutions) whether their scalp turned pinkish-colored. It seems as if my skin looks a bit sunburnt from it. I do get a slight burning sensation, moreso from the nighttime solution, but it only lasts for about 15-20 minutes. I've been using it for almost 2 months. I thought at first this burning sensation would go away after continual use but it didnt. Do I have some bad reaction to it? Thanks

I used to use the Xandrox daytime and nighttime formulas as well. The nighttime one gave me some tenderness as well. If I were you, I'd just stick to the daytime formula. Have you thought about using Xandrox 15 instead? It works better, you need to use a lot less, and it doesn't contain any propylene glycol, which some people are sensitive to.

If the night time formula has a steriod (betamethasone valerate) and/or
retinoic acid, then those can definitely cause irritation.

I only buy Dr. Lee's PPG-free minoxidil. I use that at night and do not have any scalp irritation at all. (i do get irritation if i use regular minox)

As far as I am aware, Dr. Lee hasn't been adding the BV to his formulas for years now, unless you specifically request it.
