Question on Minoxidil

Post by ghingy »

I made a silly mistake by buying a year worth of Kirkland 5% Minoxidil. It was only after I bought these supplies that I found out about Xandrox 15%.

I guess my question is, would it be the same if I use the 5% Minoxidil 3 times a day instead of 2? Would that be the same as using the Xandrox 15%? Also, if someone is using Xandrox 15%, how many times a day would they have to apply the solution?

Btw, my hairloss is at the temple and not the scalp. I hope minoxidil would still be useful in this case.

Anyway, thanks for any advice! :P

Hi Ghingy, it's okay that you bought a years worth of 5% minox. Just use it once it the daytime. You only need to use a tiny amount.

As for Xandrox 15, not sure if you saw my picture, showing the regrowth I was seeing at the temples, but here it is:

http://www.morphollica.com/product_revi ... th_pic.php

In front of the dense part of the temple, you can see tiny new hair sprouting, these thickened up considerably after a year, and I have maintained them with just finasteride 1.25mg alone since then.

Minox can regrow hair in some people at the temples.

Sam

Thanks Sam,

I like to give it a try. Do you know how many times a day I have to apply the Xandrox-15%? I ask this because I want to plan how much supply I need to buy. I'll be travelling to the States for a while next month.

Cheers!

Im new to Xandrox too (started using it about 1.5 months to 2 months ago). The reason why I use the 5% instead of the 15% is because of what Dr. Lee said on his website about using 5% first then if in 6 months the desired results are not there then jump to 15%. Sam, did you start on the 5% or did you just jump right to 15%?
