I posted this in Elsom's forum but would like some feedback here too if possible.
I'm possibly going to have a minox alternative type topical made. I noticed SOD is availalbe so am looking at that...rooibos..and apple peel extract at the moment. Would like something that could be applied in the morning- no offensive or noticeable odor and invisible.
I still haven't looked into all the ingredients and what could be used....so in the meantime any recommendations would be appreciated.
May use some of the ingredients for a shampoo as well.

For a daily scalp topical with comfortable features which is also socially agreeable, I would suggest selecting from the following list. I labeled a list of ingredients according to their significance for compatibility with your description of the nature of product you have in mind. Ingredients labeled with three stars are highly recommended. Ingredients labeled with one star are recommended. Non-labeled ingredients are optional. Of course, you can select other ingredients and of course the term "minox alternative" is only an expression because minoxidil is a medicine and The Formulator does not make medicines.
I'm thinking about doing this w/out the SOD but adding the apple peel extract. Applephenon was one of those that "raised" SOD levels..so with their own apple extract..and the rooibos and gse etc...it should be fine.
That's a lot of ingreds for one product. I would almost settle for something with less overall stuff in it, but higher concentrations of the ingredients you expect to be the most effective or pack the biggest bang for the buck.
Yeah that's another way to go about it. I guess I'm hoping for a synergy(did I spell that right?) effect. That and most things are to be used in smaller concentrations anyway. I'd rather have it all in one topical than apply things separately like some do.
Yep..I have no complaints. I may add/delete things in my next batch though(see my post about white tea).
There has to be someone else out there who's used the Formulator. I'm surprised nobody is posting about it. Maybe they went with Fred's topical instead(also made by Elsom).
