Kinda lazy, so i'll just post what i posted on IH
I wanna try out some fish collagen, but i don't know which product to purchase. Not sure where to start.
I was looking into Norland Hydrolyzed Fish Collagen (HFC): https://www.fintasticcollagen.com/
However, i stumbled onto this site: http://www.kenobio.com/eu/products/powd ... gen02.html
Apparently, hydrolyzed proteins are no good, as the molecular structure is destroyed. Unfortunately, they don't have a page on their site where you can buy kenobio fish peptides..
I'd like to find other fish collagen products, but can't find any sources that are "pure" (i.e. have no additives).
Can someone please recommend me a product here? Jacob?

Re: Need a good source for fish collagen
I wouldn't go by what one site says, especially if they're making/selling something. You could say the same about this place too, but I guess you could say they make some good points: http://www.lifesource4life.com/collagen.html
Most companies with collagen-based products use acid hydrolysis when preparing collagen, since it is much less expensive. But acid hydrolysis does not adequately break down collagen, requiring even further effort by the body to digest it in order for it to be utilized. This totally defeats the purpose of Collagen, if your body has to work so hard digesting, you will certainly not get the desired results.
In contrast, LifeSource Nutrition’s Collagen contains naturally hydrolyzed with enzymes. This allows the body to absorb all the collagen protein in a matter of minutes. (This is why Collagen can also be used during the day to aid energy levels.) Also, unlike other products, Collagen will work even if food has been consumed prior to three-hour recommended fasting period before bedtime.
