Update on Kakarot and this time is different!
Hi everyone! Im excited to tell you that I have added a few products to my regime. And this time Im a little more confident. Ok, so before I said I started using Xandrox15 since december and Revivogen since probably february. I waited until the 6 weeks period where hair shedding is suppose to stop or at least be slowed down. The hair shed was intense for the first 6 weeks, and then weeks after that it was mild but still losing hair, everytime Id wash my hair I would see 5-10 hairs on my hands. I also started to feel alot of itchyness on my scalp. And a couple bumps here and there on my scalp, the itchyness would sometimes be extreme that when im at work, (Im a cook and I have to wear a hat for well safety and health reasons) and I would itch the heck outta my head at work. ANd I know the cause of this was Xandrox15 and Revivogen. And I knew it was inflammation, something I thought Id never get considering Im 21, but I guess no matter your age your not it doesnt matter. So I researched the forums to see what people had to say about inflammation. I saw that some took Fish Oil pills or B-12 to help fight against inflammation. So I went to the grocery store and got exactly those 2 pill products. Within a day or 2 the inflammation had mild and slowly went away. Im eating more and taking more vitamins. But the thing is, for months and months of using Xandrox15 and Revivogen I just KEPT LOSING HAIR and it was upsetting me. So the point where I shaved my head with only 1 centimeter of hair just so I could reach all spots of my scalp with the topicals. I knew it was inflammation that was causing my hair to fall out. And just TODAY I recieved my Inflamil product even purchused the inflamil shampoo as well. And I just used the inflamil shampoo and WOW it made my scalp feel so cool like a menthol feeling, so relaxing and comforting. Im about to using the inflammil itself, its a strong smell, cant say I hate it since there is green tea extract in it, smells kinda sweet. But its worth it in my mind. Im not letting inflammation get the best of me. Not anymore, and yes, I started to see slowly but surely progress in my hair getting thick and possibly regrowing in some parts, too soon to tell but Im just happy I have a full set of regime to fight all my problems with hair loss. Im so happy, but yet I aint expecting to grow back a full head of hair or anything else, if worse comes to worse I'll shave off all my hair and become the next Mr. CLean. I dont care, Im a handsome guy and whatever girl I end up dating should like me for me. So what have I got to lose, except more hair and money haha, its worth a shot and Im confident in this regime I got, so I might as well list it for you guys.
Xandrox15
Revivogen
Fish Oil
B-12
Nizoral
Inflamil and Inflamil shampoo
Multi vitamins and multivitamins for hair
Vitamin E (I heard this could help but either way its a good vitamin)
And not being so DEPRESSED AND STRESSED, I tend to go out more and keep a positive attitude as best as I can.
And Sam if your reading this, get Fish Oil and B-12 if you havent, its good for cardiovascular health which is linked to hair loss, and get Inflammil too cause it works. Its so soothing. If anyone else has any advice or any other kind of vitamin or herbs to try let me know Im open to anything. But I got enough topicals but I dont mind getting more types of herbs and vitamins. Thanks for taking time to read on my progress, hopefully in a few months I will have more hair! But if not then oh well, its worth a shot. Take care everyone!
P.S. should I purchuse minox 5% or is using xandrox15 alone good and enough for me? And question for jacob, why dont you use Minox Im just curious but I could probably guess why. THanks again!

I'm glad you're getting things under control Kakarot. I had to stop my topicals completely for several months because of my tendancy towards getting an inflamed scalp...
I'm beginning to suspect that azeleic acid (like propylene glycol) can potentially induce inflammation in some people. Blueshard noted in another thread that it is an ingredient in both Revivogen and Xandrox.
I've restarted these topicals (which incidently have worked the best for me in growing hair along the temples and hairline) but I'm afraid the inflammation may return.
Enough of you guys have said great things about Inflamil that I definitely intend to give it a try! Thanks to Jacob for introducing it here!
BTW, Dr. Yechiel has indicated that his formulator product/service is making good progress. I'll be adding him as a new expert in the Morphollica Experts section within the next day or two.
Cheers,
Sam

hey to answer your question blueshard I only use 1 ML or LESS or each, each day. My hair line is the hard part though, losing it fast, Im not sure if its the xandrox15 or the revivogen doing it to me but its getting bad, so I might switch on and if between the 2 products to see which one works better for hair line, thinking the xandrox15 should be only for my hairline, if anyone got advice please fill me in, thanks.

Def. don't switch on and off between the products. Instaed stick with one product for at least 6 months and then evaluate. Both products are excellent and I would recommend using both of them if you scalp feels ok with that. I think that the Xandrox would work better at regrowing anything at your hairline and the Revivogen would be better at maintaining what hair you have.
It is possible that you are shedding right now due to the start of your regimen which is normal and sometime means that it is working. Ride out the shed and hopefully those hairs you lost will be replaced by thicker ones.
How is the inflammation doing? How severe is your hairloss?

Ok, I hope blueshard or Jacob gets to read this and reply. TO reply to your post blueshard. I am now undergoing another bad shed. Just recently just NOW I was putting in Xandrox15 and rubbing it in my hair and I always look at my hand to see how much hair shed. I counted at least 20-30 hairs on my hand that fell out. And Im like OH NO! Because Ive been using Xandrox15 since december 2004, and the shedding mild but now its instense. Ive been using revivogen since february. I already used one full bottle of revivogen which is suppose to last a month but I made it last at least 3 months. I got 2 more bottles of revivogen and at least 1/4 of a bottle of xandrox15 if not more. I just introduced inflammil to my scalp a few days ago and also use the inflammil shampoo which I love. MY QUESTION BEING is that does Inflammil suppose to cause some sort of extra shedding? Or do you think that finally that since I am using inflammil that it took away most of my inflammation and has finally caused xandrox15 and revivogen to actually WORK better that now Im experiencing an extra phase of shedding? I am not that familiar with the side effects of inflammil so if anyone such as blueshard and whomever can tell me if this is normal I will feel alot better. Dont tell me what I wanna hear just the truth even if it hurts haha. Cause in my self opinion like I said before, it could be that inflammil is actually helping the use of xandrox15 and revivogen that is the main cause of this extra shedding. Oh man Im just too young for this but Im doing my best to keep positive. Also another QUESTION I have is it ok if I use inflammil while I use xandrox15 and revivogen or should I kept the use of inflammil seperate. And how often should i use inflammil? Every day or every few days or every once in awhile? Im sorry for the questions but I just need to know the proper use of these products so they work with me instead of against me. Thank you everyone for your support.

Oh and another thing to reply to blueshard posts, I am not gonna switch on and off between the products of xandrox15 and revivogen. I have used xandrox15 3 months before starting revivogen, all Im saying is that I think Im gonna use xandrox 15 more on my hairline and only use very little revivogen in my hairline and pretty much use more revivogen on my crown and vertex area. ANd if my hairline grows back then I will use revivogen more on the hairline. And my hairloss, well its not like I have a huge slick bald spot, its more thinned out then anything, still hair present but very thin on my top of my hair. Perhaps I can somehow take photos and post them sometime. Id say norton scale between 2 and 3 but since I am using these regimes I cant say that the thinning is normal as you would see on any normal balding male that ISNT using any topicals. Cause Im pretty certain the use of these products has caused my hair to thin out even more, but I am sticking it out and hoping for the best. Sorry for the extra post I hope this doesnt distract anyone from answering my questions in the previous reply this is just added info. thanks again

I think that Jacob or Sam would be better at answering these questions but I can say that sometimes hair just goes through sheds and it is not necessarily because of the topical you are using. When I was using X15 and it was inflamming my scalp I would shed a good amount. You spoke of inflammation in a previous post, how is you scalp feeling?

My scalp is feeling fine as far as the inflammation goes, very little itchyness on rare occasions now. But my hair follicles are weak as anything. I woke up this morning and gave a slight tug on the top of my head just to pull out a few hairs, and the bulbs at the end are small rather then big. I dunno why? I been using xandrox15 and revivogen for some time now youd think I would have stronger hair follicles. Im about to upload some pics I took and show you guys how bad my hair loss is.......gosh I really hate this, its so hard to be positive about it......I think its time I purchuse spiro cream from dr lee.......

Here are the directions for Inflamil:
You do seem to be using quite a few things. I don't know if this would help in your situation but I, with my topicals, like to introduce new products slowly. Use them maybe just once or twice a week at first and gradually build up to how ever often I intend to use them. (Except with Inflamil I used for about 10 days in a row right away, like they suggest)Directions to use:
Apply (do not rub - do not massage ) Inflamil daily for 10 days in the morning or evening in the thinning area.It is important to use it generously and to cover surrounding areas also.Let it sit for 15-20 minutes and wash it away with InFlamil shampoo or any other mild shampoo. You may also leave it overnight. After shampooing the scalp feel free to use any other desired product. 3 times a week you should treat the same area with Lipo-Biotin after shampooing. After this initial 10-day period the inflammation should be gone and only a follow up treatment of 1-2 times a week is recommended.

Yea I am using quite a few things, I have used so much topicals, Crinagen, Folligen, (stopped using those) now the only topicals I use are revivogen and xandrox15 with the inflammil, I think I will cut down on the amount of xandrox15 and revivogen to 1/2 or even 1/4 of a ml and concentrate on the inflammil for a week like you said I should do. Thanks for the advice again, anyone else wanna put some input on things please feel free cause its what I want. Thanks, im desperate

OH yea and one other thing, they have changed Inflammil to a liquid base because I called them today thinking I was sent the wrong item considering that jacob said it was suppose to come in a gel form. I got worried and called the company they said that they changed it to a liquid form cause too many people with long hair complained about it being hard to put on the scalp in gel form. They also said that they are gonna soon put up an option to get inflammil in either gel or liquid form. So keeping my fingers crossed for progress. thanks

Kakarot,
I think you're applying too much. I don't mean too many topicals (although that might be the case), but too MUCH of the topical. I think the TOTAL amount of topicals combined in a given day should amount to no more than about 2.5ml at MOST. That may seem like it's too little but think about it. How much can we put stuff on our heads before we overload the skin's capability to deal with it all?
All the products may be great, but what use is it if you get an inflamed scalp from using too much stuff? I think that when using multiple products we have to use less of each product so that we use no more than 2.5ml at most TOTAL for the day. That's not 2.5ml during each application, but 2.5ml is the maximum amount you should use in an entire day. I think that when you use multiple products we're making a trade-off between the amount of each product we can use. If you've got a well-rounded regimen I don't think you're necessarily diluting the effect.
For instance, in your case I'd potentially use about .75 ml of Xandrox15 for the fontal hair line and temples and up to the top of the head. It should be so little that it totally absorbs. This is sometimes tough to do because you have to fight the urge to slather your scalp with it. But I think it ends up working much better in the long run if you do it this way because you're increasing the likelihood of keeping the scalp healthy. Then use about 1ml of revivogen in the crown area and around that area (you may not even have to use that much). If you've got other topicals you want to apply it has to fit into the remaining .75ml of space you have left.
Try this out and let us know if things improve. In fact if you can keep it to 2ml total a day that would be even better in my opinion. 2.5ml is the maximum I suggest.
Oh and use the Xandrox 15 only ONCE per day. Same with the Revivogen.
Last but not least. I think that azaleic acid may be something that a lot of people are sensitive to when they use it on a regular basis. I know that this is probably the case for me, and perhaps Blueshard has discovered this as well. I'm thinking of asking Dr. Lee and Dr. Khadavi to look into produce azaleic-acid-free versions of their products to see if that helps people like us.
I have found that Propecia has been doing a pretty good job of maintaining my hair while I am not using topicals. I know a lot of you guys don't want to take internal DHT inhibitors, but I have not experienced any side-effects since starting it up and staying on it last year. For me, it has been worth using it. I don't even think about it anymore. I know several other people that have been using it for years, and one guy I know has had very good regrowth and is maintaining. He even had severe dandruff that he claims went away within a week of starting it.
So Kakarot, I'm thinking that if you can keep your cool, think long term, and not psyche yourself out, Propecia is worth using. It all depends on how badly hair loss bothers you. For me personally, I am bothered by it enough that the benefits outweigh the risks.

Sam! Actually to clear things up I am not using alot of topicals, I am actually using 1 ml of each or LESS of revivogen and xandrox15. I actually started cutting down on both. To like .50 to .75 of 1 ML of each. Cause lemme tell you this. I got one bottle of Xandrox15 since late november, started using it early december. It has lasted me until now and I still have some left. I emailed Dr. Lee and he said I shoulda ran out already cause he thinks I actually used 1 ML of xandrox everyday since november in which he said shoulda lasted me until March. Hahaha he doesnt know I still have some left cause I have been conserving it like crazy and not using as much as Dr. Lee would want me to. Also I got a 3 month supply of Revivogen in which each bottle suppose to last one month. I made 1 bottle of revivogen last me almost 3 months. So I am definately not using too much topicals. I also get lazy sometimes and apply one after the other in which I am not sure if thats good or not but I just heard that they dont interfere with eachother so I do that sometimes. So yea, I aint using too much topicals, but I need to keep a steady dosage from now on. Thanks again

Hey guys, I know this is too early to say but I was looking at my hair with a magnifying glass the other day and I can truly say, I see little tiny hairs, now I am not sure if this is hair going away or coming back but in my receding hairline there were no hairs and now I see tiny hairs growing back so I am crossing my fingers and hoping this is hair regrowth, guess it just takes a long time for regrowth to occur. I will find out in a few months. YAY!
