Products for increasing HT healing/survival and scarring?

What products would you recommend to increase the survival rate and healing of a FUE HT? My last one didn't grow in so well, even though I went to a top doc, I beleive this is because I had scarring in the recipient area.

Thought about something like Dermatopoietin to prevent the new hairs from shedding like the usually do...thoughts?

What do you mean by "didn't grow in so well" ?
I had thought that all (ok, > 90%) hair that is transplanted from the back of your head to the front/top would survive since it is immune to DHT.
Am I wrong on this?

I was in fact starting to think on getting an hair transplant, but this is really making me wonder.

some hairs don't make it, its commonly referred to as shock loss.

Apparently FUE (Folicular Unit Extraction) which is the procedure in which one hair is removed one at a time a and then implanted one at a time, strip type hair transplants are said to have a higher degree of success rate as a final product but once again not all the hairs survive, perhaps some more experienced folks can explain this in more detail but there is lots of information available for it online so do your research plenty and ask a lot of questions from everyone including your surgeon before getting the procedure done.

they just didnt survive the transplanting process, whether it was because they were damaged or because of my existing scarring. thats why im hoping i can apply something to aide in healing, and dermaprotein looks good as the idea is it prevents hairs from shedding, so my new transplants *should* grow from the get-go..?

How many transplants have you had so far? How many hairs did you transplant on each one?
You said you had scaring on your recipient area. Was it caused by a previous transplant? Or was it some out-of-the-ordinary situation which can be avoided in some way?

ive had 2. both fue. both about 1000 hairs each time. i had my first one removed because i was young and hated how unnatural it looked, that's what caused scarring. it wasn't visible on the surface so much (a little bit), but the tissue was def scarred.
