RETIN-A question

ok so i know over the years its supposed to be a viable option but ONLY when adding it to minoxidil.Well the studies done say 66 percent had regrowth with retin a and minox and 58 percent had regrowth with only retin A? Im curious why arent people who cant use minox using retin a alone?There are also higher concentrations than the .025% used in hair growth formulas.There is .05% and .1% used for acne.Ive also read reports of women getting growth on their hairline using retin a on the face as well as retinol creams.Is there anyone here who has used retin A on its own here?Im thinking of trying it for a daytime topical
