Hey Sam what is up? I was wondering how your hair and scalp have been doing since stopping topicals. Are you or have you experienced a minoxidil shed? I stopped minox for 4 months before I got back on and at present I am having a shed that is unreal. My hair has thinned out dramatically and receeded and everything.
Hopefully I can get some of it back since I am doing the minox again. I miss the days when we were using Xandrox15 and maintaining our hair! Anyways, I would love to hear from you. Later
Sam how is your hair?

Had some sheds but not something I would necessarily think is excessive (or maybe I'm just not paying enough attention to notice). My scalp feels much better after stopping all topicals. If I can continue to maintain my current hair with Propecia alone I'll be happy. Will wait another few months without using any topicals before making any new decisions as to whether I'll start again or not.
For now, it appears that my scalp has benefited from the break. Not sure if my hair has though.
Sorry to hear about the sheds. Hang in there man. Maybe your use of the Elsom products will get your inflammation under enough control that your current regimen will at the very least help you maintain what you now have. I miss the days of Xandrox 15 as well. Maybe Lipoxidil is a good option for us given that it's liposomal...
Regards,
Sam

Thats the worst man, I know how that feels. My hair comes out by the hundreds right now and it sucks. But maybe it is time for you to look into getting a transplant with Hasson and Wong. You are old enough and are on Propecia, so in your case I think it would be a great idea. As for me? Well, Toppik is my best friend.
