Drunken Posting
Does anyone else wish they had more hair and didn't have to worry about all this BS every time they get drunk?
I f-en do this all the time.
Currently chucking some coconut oil on my head and doing the tom hagerty scalp exercise for about 20 minutes every day I'm not drinking and it seems to get rid of the itch but bloody hell I'd love to have more hair and not have to worry about this anymore.
Still waiting on my elsoms.

Guess it's just me then lol.
Elsoms arrived today, still waiting to hear back from Dr Yechiel so I know what to do with them.

Re: Drunken Posting
I might be missing the point your trying to make here but I think everyone here wants more hair but I hate to break it to you but anything currently available on the retail market will do minimal if anything in terms of re-growth, the marketing campaigns have just become more aggressive and clever as they all throw new theoretical cures our way. It will be years until we see anything worthwhile and when we do sadly it will be out of reach for many financially and geographically.
I don't care about what the directors, shareholders, fanatics of these companies think but if they want to argue the facts and insist that their product is the way of the future then I would like to see it... I think sooner or later all products have to be rated on their actual performance rather than their marketing skills, hype or theoretical advancements... as it stands a lot of them are flopping already and they only seem to be carried by customers sheer hope of a better fuller tomorrow.
I personally think that scientists involved in various studies such as aderans, histogen, follicabio, etc have a greater chance of finding the cure than some of these other operators cashing on in this big cash cow that can so easily be milked so don't be too quick to part with your money or your sense... save for a better tomorrow instead.
Oh and if anyone has any proof that hair regrowth can be achieved with commercially available products (aside from propecia and minoxidil) I would love to see it! But if anything I know how this is going to work... no one will accept the challenge, this post will never get a solid factual response and we will all sit here getting pumped like the cash cows we are, I know I am coming of as bitter but when faced with the actual facts its hard not to be.
Its great to believe in fantasy but at some point you have to come back to your senses and access the reality of a situation.

Well, to be honest, if you stay fit and toned the baldness will eventually not make a difference.
Most guys get beer guts in their 30's and 40's, if you stay fit girls will notice you in spite of the baldness.
Just don't be a comb over guy, shave it, or at least keep it short like you don't care.

Re: Drunken Posting
This may be true for some but not all are like that and by losing a percentage of your hair you also lose a percentage of appeal to women, this is the real world and people are going to judge you by the way you look, sure I am aware that working out and accentuating other areas will it help each time you look in the mirror or when you see brush or a photo of yourself with hair... I doubt it.
Some men love their hair a lot and don't actually look good at all bold, facial features, head shape, head size, ears etc can determine how good you look bold.

Re: Drunken Posting
I decided to get off dr lee's products altogether. He seems like a decent guy and has been very honest and helpful during the past year but for me it just hasn't worked out. I weened off them over a couple of weeks and then didn't use anything for a couple of days before starting the elsom topical regimen as dr y suggests on his website.
So far I haven't noticed any shedding, if anything my hair just feels thicker and healthier. I was told my hair feels very soft for the first time in years.
Have been off Dr Lee's stuff for a couple of weeks and one week through the elsoms.
Whatever happens, I'm happy to be off the minox and finasteride for a while. I always hated putting that stuff on my head.

Really liking these elsoms so far. Got a nice free moisturiser too.
Will definitely be sticking with these for a while. Just a shame they smell so damn bad.

Re: Drunken Posting
hey Joey, how long do you do the tom hagerty scalp exercises? Does it seem to help? I have read about it and it does also has another benefits, although Im not quite impressed yet. I assume it can help you relax and because stress can cause hairloss, this exercise might reduce stress and reduce hairloss? So no benefit for mpb sufferers?
Anyway, about the subject. I never thought about my hair or even my looks while Im drunk...lol...then I wasnt able to get a girlfriend EVER!!!
I did have these thought previous year when I started to realize that I am loosing lots of hair. But since a couple of months I almost forget about it and only when Im checking this forum it reminds me to care about my hair. Im not even worried when Im styling my hair, mostly Im quite happy......the question is...for how long?

Re: Drunken Posting
I don't think it destresses, it more gives a 'pumped up' feeling around the scalp which does feel beneficial. I've never been able to stay consistent enough with it to say whether or not it benefits hair growth but I can say that after a few days of doing them my hair is much 'fuller', there's less oil on my scalp and so less oil in my hair and the best thing is scalp irritation goes down to almost zero. Like I often hear the lasering guys say, I seem to have more good hair days. There's definitely enough benefit for me to want to continue doing it.0416Dr wrote:hey Joey, how long do you do the tom hagerty scalp exercises? Does it seem to help? I paid the $25 for his video cd but there's enough info on his website to at least do the basic exercise. The vcd package is worthwhile though IMO. Normally I do a handstand against the wall (this is my own thing, I just like to get the blood going up there, plus I always wanted to be able to walk on my hands), then I'll do 5 mins of the basic exercise, 15-25 mins of the advanced exercise and then another 5 mins of the basic to finish off. Sometimes I'll do it a lot longer if I'm pretty into what I'm reading. Also, I always put coconut oil on my forehead and close to the eye area prior to starting, occasionally I'll put it through my hair as well. This takes away the dryness and prevents wrinkles hanging around after exercising. You can skip this step if you're pretty oily to start with.
If you give it a go come back and fill me in on your experience. Would be good to compare. I like what Tom's done with his website but his forum's a bloody mess.
