Does anyone else feel like the industry isn't going anywhere? It seems like the only substantive treatments out there is either rogaine or propecia and both of them aren't exactly great treatments.

I feel like the research for hairloss isn't really going anywhere. Maybe im just impatient.

When you really think about it Sumerian, despite a whole slew of items that have come out since Propecia was approved for treating hair loss, in my opinion nothing has been overly significant. Everything that has come out since then pretty much attempts to treat hair loss by either combating DHT or trying to emulate the effects of minoxidil in some fashion.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that there hasn't been an 'AHA!' moment in hair loss for a long time. I feel that unless more inroads are made into understanding all the multiple components that lead to hair loss, it'll be a while before anything better comes out.

Here's to hoping that hair cloning truly is the next big major advancement in hair loss... fingers crossed.
