Anyone heard of Alphactif?
Anyone heard of this french hair loss drug that came out in the US in April. Apparently it has had some success in Europe. It has no hormone inhibitors in it. It comprised of herbs and vitamins.

That just goes to show how little we really know about the cause of hairloss. We know the biology of how it happens, but not the underlying factors into why. I mean, androgens is suppose to be an important cause of hairloss but if you can develop your father's pattern of hairloss by inheriting other ...

Hmm, its hard to believe because i have friends who have the exact same pattern of balding as their father...if the androgan gene comes from the mother's side, then the chance that the pattern of hairloss is like the fathers ...

Hairloss inherited from mother
I am interested in what Trish said in one reply; that recent genetic research claims that hairloss in males is inherited from the mother's side.
From what i have researched and heard, this is a myth. That the genes of hairloss can be inherited from both sides of the family.

hey guys
It seems like there is nothing good going on in the hair loss world. I don't think Dr. Lee at Minixodil.com has updated his webpage in the last year. It seems like we are moving at mach snail pace in the hairloss research world. Nothing interesting or remotely useful to hairloss sufferers.

Question for u people.
An uncle told me last night, that curly haired men are more prone to lose hair then straight haired men. I would like to ask everyone who is thinning if u have straight hair or curly hair and when u started to lose ur hair and at what stage u are.

Does anyone else feel like the industry isn't going anywhere? It seems like the only substantive treatments out there is either rogaine or propecia and both of them aren't exactly great treatments.
I feel like the research for hairloss isn't really going anywhere. Maybe im just impatient.

Hello my fellow folliculary challenged friends. I'm 22 and i started losing my hair when i was around 19. My hairline has receded to a norwood 2 or 3. I have been on Xandrax 15 for about 4 or 5 months and have not seen too much improvement. I have not seen any regrowth. I only use Xandrax 15 and ...
