Can I use both Propecia and Dutasteride together?
A better question that this is, "Why would you want to?" It doesn't make sense to use Propecia and Dutasteride together for any reason, let alone to treat hair loss.
This is because they both act by binding to the 5-alpha-reductase enzyme in order to inhibit the formation of DHT or dihydrotestosterone, the hormone responsible for Androgenetic Alopecia, the most common type of hair loss; but Dutasteride inhibits both types of the 5ar iso-enzyme and does a better overall job of this than Propecia does. So if you're going to use Dutasteride, it simply does not make sense to also use Propecia.
Neither does it make sense to use Dutasteride if you're already using Propecia.
