What are the side-effects of Dutasteride (Avodart)?
Dutasteride (marketed as Avodart) can potentially cause sexual side-effects including impotence, decreased interest in sex, and decrease in the amount of ejaculate. These side-effects go away as your body adjusts to Dutasteride. Additional side-effects may include breast enlargement and/or tenderness. If any of these effects occur, you contact your doctor or pharmacist promptly.
In rare instances, an allergic reaction to Dutasteride can occur. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, and trouble breathing.
