Kirkland Minoxidil Review

I have been using Kirkland 5% Minoxidil for a couple of years now on and off. Those times when I did not use it I was testing another product and wanted to use that product exclusively (Xandrox and Revivogen). Anyway, I have started using it again, in conjunction with Xandrox 15 and Revivogen. I apply the Kirkland minox in the mornings, applying it liberally (since it is CHEAP!) covering my entire scalp. I would say I apply about 1.5ml to 2ml per day. At night I apply the Xandrox and the Revivogen.

Anyway, the Kirkland Minoxidil is a topical 5% minoxidil solution in an alcohol and propylene glycol base. It takes a fair bit of gentle rubbing on the scalp when you are applying it, but this is not a major issue. I have paid for other brands of minox, like Rogaine, and it has cost an arm and leg to do so when compared with the Kirkland minox. The primary motivator for purchasing this is that it is very well priced. A 3-pack of 60ml bottles of it costs about $15 US, and you can pick it up at Costco. If you live outside of the US you can find websites that you can purchase it from. I highly recommend this as a staple treatment and integral part of any regimen.

There is a ton of scientific clinical studies that have proven that Minoxidil works. There is NO difference between the Minoxidil in Kirland minox and the Minoxidil in Rogaine (Upjohn's version). They are exactly the same. The vehicle may be different, but I was experiencing regrowth with Kirkland alone at one point. Rest assured that it works just as well as Rogaine. They are both Minoxidil. Period.

Check out the information on Rogaine and Minoxidil here. You can read the articles and abstracts on it. This should be enough to convince you that you need a minox product in your regimen. If money is not an object then you can go ahead and buy Rogaine; however, if you would like to save a few bucks (quite a few bucks) then go with Kirkland minox.

Have any questions regarding Kirkland Minoxidil?
