Why Propecia works for some but not all
December 1, 2005
It's a sad fact that when it comes to hair loss, there are no medications or treatments that work for everyone. And for those medications that do work well for some people, they don't necessary do anything for others. Propecia is one such medication. A recent study has found that the reason for this is that in the androgen receptor gene, there is a pattern of DNA that correlates to less efficacy for Finasteride in the treatment of hair loss, the more the pattern repeats.
Read the following post in the HairLossFight.com forums, which contains the abstract of the study: Research shows why Propecia is more effective for some.
