Distilled Water

Post by James » Wed Jun 07, 2006 12:22 pm

My mother gets gallon jugs of distilled water delivered to our house. I drink about a 1/2 gallon a day of this distilled water. I keep hearing conflicting opinions about whether or not it is good for you.

Dr. Weil says it is good

Another article from mercola.com says it isn't

Jacob, Sam, Tricia, anybody else, what do you think?

I drink filtered water ( got a water filter), and rarely tap water.

I drink filtered water as well. I've always "heard" that drinking distilled water isn't a good idea..I guess I'd rather not take a chance.

That's really confusing...They say distilled water is acidic, the best way to find out is have your
distilled water tested if it's acidic. Acidic water is not good for our body.

If you test distill water, it will be acidic.. The only natural place to get distill water is from rain. I don't want to drink rain.

I used to use distilled water for everything but now I will only use it when extreme purity is needed. Instead I now get exclusively reverse osmosis water, which has a few minerals still in it.

Distilled waters chemical formula is the D2O and it is much lighter water than H2O so that's the reason it is very suitable for the every kind of person.

Distilled water is very good for health, and it is so lighter than a man can drink lot of distill water more than normal water. It is good for health.
