Hair Loss From Hair Coloration
Help! I am experiencing hair loss which I noticed after colouring my hair at home with L'oreal Casting Creme Gloss. Its the second time I did that and since I first used it, I noticed that my hair falls alot more than before.
I really don't understand because its without ammonia, but before when I coloured my hair, I protected it wth Huile D'ales before coloration.
Has anyone noticed hair fall after coloration? And especially with the L'oreal Casting?
This is driving me crazy because my hair was getting better, and the Bioclin Advance ampoule was giving excellent result. I don't know what to do anymore. I want to have beautiful, shiny, and lot of hair and top worrying about hair loss because it's driving me crazy!

Seasonal Hair loss
I think the increase in hair shedding is due to season change from summer to winter here in Mauritius. My sister and mother as well are noiticing an increase in hair shedding so I will wait that this shedding stop naturally and continue my hair loss treatment in the mean time.
Is there anything else you can do when the hair undergoes a renewal process?

Re: Hair Loss From Hair Coloration
isn't there chemicals compounded in every hair coloring agent? maybe it's just your body's reaction to that certain chemical compound, and triggers a hair loss effect. it certainly differs from every person, but i suggest you go to your doctor for some enlightenment. if this is the first time it happened after a few attempts to color your hair, maybe try a different brand or something. goodluck

According to me don't stop coloring, perming, or conditioning your hair if you like the results of these processes. Hair styles that pull tightly can cause some hair loss, but hair coloring and "chemicals" do not.

Actually that depends on hair to hair sometimes coloring may cause hair loss, or sometimes it may because of tightening of hair, vitamin deficiency. You can use natural dye called "Heena", instead of using color if you have doubt. It also act as a conditioner.

I am also thinking that this is the culprit for my hairloss. I have colored my hair since I was young and now, I am losing many strands each day.

This is what I am also trying to find out. I like changing my hair color from time to time and now I am noticing I have falling hair. I stopped coloring my hair now but it seems like the hair fall doesn't stop.

I don't think hair coloring can effect in hair loss if the products are of good quality. If you use poor quality products for coloring then it is definitely result in hair loss.

Whatever would be the coloring I think they would still cause hair loss. They are still using the main ingredient (chemical) that might damage the hair growth.david07 wrote:I don't think hair coloring can effect in hair loss if the products are of good quality. You should always do a patch test before the complete application, But if you have been using the same product over a long period of time and suddenly you are facing hair loss, Than one of the reason may be due to more time of the color you must have kept in your hair than recommended

Hair colours that are based on chemicals are harmful for hair and cause hair loss. I think natural dyes are safe to use for coloration of hairs.

Re: Hair Loss From Hair Coloration
yes it would be happen so you have to be coloration and use natural product for hair color if its necessary for you you and use biotin capsule and Vitamin A helps create vibrant shiny hair because it works with the fat synthesis in the hair follicles and spurs hair growth. Foods that contain vitamin A include eggs, kale, squash, and carrots.Hormones influence the production of hair. Hormones decrease with age and slow hair growth,Drinking alcohol reduces hair growth. Reduce or eliminate alcohol from the diet and you will see an increase in hair growth.
