Is this hair loss?
Specifically talking about the area around my ear and towards my temple. It's been like this for years, I don't think it has really changed, but I don't think it was like this when I was younger.
I'm 26 now, and want to know what I can do about this.

If it hasn't really changed I would say no, but I would definitely visit a doctor to get a confirmed diagnosis before taking further action

Yes, it is and it we can say as baldness and you need to go for the surgery treatment to get hair lost back or use scalp massage to growth of hair.

Re: Is this hair loss?
If it has been like this since years, it can't be hair loss. Hair loss is different as in you actually get to see your hair draining while taking bath or combing. Have you ever observed anything like this? If not, no need to worry. It is natural.
If at all you wish to improve the volume of your hair, you can definitely opt for treatment. There are many advance treatment solutions available. Contact an expert for the desired result.

Re: Is this hair loss?
As far as I think. If you term it as 'hair loss' you get to see hair around right? So do you find your hair draining while bathing or combing? If not then it can't be hair loss.

Re: Is this hair loss?
I saw the picture you attached..it is the beginning of hair loss from the forehead, the first step in it is hair thinning although it is not an big issue but if it is uncomfortable then I would like to recommend you to use required proteins in your diet because it is very beneficial for skin as well as hair as I heard from elders..if you didn't like such home remedies or you are a vegetarian then you can go for some best and quality hair products..hope this will be helpful for your problem.smc1987 wrote:Specifically talking about the area around my ear and towards my temple. Re: Is this hair loss?
MPB is present in 80% of men to a various degree. Look at your dad and if he has it - in 99% you will too - that is a sad fact of life..
at 26 you seem to be lucky, it may just be "maturing hair line".
I would try LLLT in combination with DHT blocking and Minoxidil - tat is proven to work...
don't buy any stupid laser hair combs -they should be banned...
and you won't need any helmet style cons either...
look it up and you will find it...there are (very) few inexpensive and yet very effective products out there...but plenty of useless stuff as well - in vast majority....as always..
