This review, among many others on Amazon, attest to what I have been saying about Alpecin:ive suffered with a slow decline in hairloss now since i was in my mid twenties, and as a guy who always had thick hair, and lots of styles i found it to be quite depressing. my hair dresser said to me a couple of years ago, how it wont be long before i need to start thinking about shaving it off, as its thin on top but still thick round the sides.. that is when i decided to give alpecin a go. fortunately its been a decision i have never regretted.

i wasn't sure right away if it was making a difference, as i was still shedding some hair, and i think on a daily basis you can't really tell, thats why i thought id wait awhile and persevere before reviewing my opinion. i can honestly say in two years, there is very little difference in my hairloss so this product has worked well.

i wash my hair everyday..this shampoo should be left on for two minutes, but if your lounging in a bath leave it for longer so more caffiene is absorbed.. i usually leave it on for 5 minutes. alpecin has a nice scent, thickens your hair slightly and makes it soft but gripper to use with hair products. you dont need to use much either, so a bottle lasts me a couple of months washing my hair every day. i can recommend also, the alpecin liquid as that thickens hair even more and compliments the shampoo well.

give it a go for yourself, but don't expect it to work overnight..and dont expect it to grow you a full head of hair back. its great to halt hairloss, but i didn't experience any hair growth of any note..

Hey intricate1..I'm a bit confused- is that your review or one from Amazon? Nearly every product on there you'll find more positives than negatives. I'd be convinced it there were more before/afters of actual balding individuals showing results.
I've considered using it in the past..just had so many things to try back then and since.

I am wondering if alpecin is causing my scalp to be sensitive to rogaine?

Hello everyone, we are three students from the Maastricht University of Business and Economics and are conducting a research study on hairloss and would love you to do our research study, which will only take 3 Minutes. It will be strictly confidential. We would be really thankful for your responses! This is the link for the study:
