All Natural Shampoo
Israelite..you got me searching so thought I'd start a thread on this. How about a list of shampoos that are (supposed to be) all natural...?? Maybe not all that are out there..but some of the more interesting ones/may be good for hair loss.
http://www.terressentials.com/haircare.html - tried this one in the past. Loved the smell(the sultry spice) but not good if you want it to lather a bit.
https://www.morroccomethod.com/en/shampoos - used this line for quite some time in the past. The "Earth" one at first had one of the best scents to it..ever. Later on they changed things or maybe just because of the natural ingreds..it wasn't the same. It's been years since I've used 'em so it'd be interesting to see how they compare now.
http://www.justnaturalskincare.com/hair ... ampoo.html
http://www.truenorthorganic.com/category_s/1823.htm
Maybe this one..if they'd put the info up: http://www.rawhairorganics.com/HairProd ... =8&cat=MEN

Re: All Natural Shampoo
That's got to turn off a lot of ppl though..that much for shipping. They'd be better off just charging a bit more for the products. Will be interested in reading your feedback on it
My decision was made a bit easier over the weekend with that one site having a sale on Lamas' shampoo. I got enough to last through the winter...now I'm either going to add some other new ones to rotate with..or go back to Morrocco Method or another I've tried and know I like. If it's MM then I'll have a shampoo rotation I used to do years ago. Here's an example of MM's ingreds:

I'll probably try that Giovanni one out eventually. Cheap and good reviews. The Pura-d-or one will be the next one to try though. I see Amazon has it...hopefully a little goes a long way.

Re: All Natural Shampoo
I finally received and tried for the first time this morning..the Paurador shampoo: http://www.puradoroil.com/shampoo-hair- ... p-117.html
The smell is good ..was very invigorating(On that..when I started using Lamas again it was quite invigorating. After awhile that "sensation" goes away..for me. I still use it/love it..just posting what I'm...feeling )
I noticed in some of the Amazon reviews ppl saying it was "drying". On this..my first usage of it...to me it seemed like it plumped up the hair shafts quite a bit, which made it SEEM like it was "drying". In other words..usually when I get out of the shower and towel-dry my hair and comb it back- it just lays down flat. After using this stuff, my hair was spiking-up(my hair is quite long at the moment)..can't think of a better way to describe it. It just looked like it had quite a bit more volume and was.. standing up. But I'll use it some more and see if it starts drying and irritating my scalp.

Re: All Natural Shampoo
The effect is simple to explain. They simply forgot to toss in something antistatic against the electrical charging of the hair.Jacob wrote:I finally received and tried for the first time this morning..the Paurador shampoo: http://www.puradoroil.com/shampoo-hair- ... p-117.html

Your hair is spiking-up because each hair has the same type of electrical charge on its surface and charges with the same sign repulse each other.
However, for alopecia sufferers with little hair this effect is attractive of course since it causes more volume for a while.

But my hair is still wet when I notice this effect. I just lightly towel-dry and then comb it back. Still applies?SyntheseLabRat wrote:

Well the stuff still isn't bothering my scalp..drying it or my hair out or anything. It seems to be one of those things that works for my hair- adding da volume at least. I'm sure others who have or will try it may not have the same experience.

Re: All Natural Shampoo
Indeed very interesting, the shampoo powders look like a nice addition too, great for a masking treatment. The prices look very reasonable too.
Don't mistake my optimism for stupidity

Re: All Natural Shampoo
Just keep in mind it's only 8 oz..compared to, for example, Pura d'or's 16. But then all those ingreds Abes recently had it on sale- I suggest anyone interested sign up for their newsletter/email updates. Sometimes they have a discount for anything on the site. They have a lot of other interesting products as well. And yes..of course..I had to order it. But this is the last new one I try for a year..'cept for maybe Freds.

Re: All Natural Shampoo
Well...it's a pretty decent shampoo. I seem to feel a little bit of "heat"...which I assume is due to ingreds such as Capsicum. Nothing unpleasant..feels nice actually. Will use it a few times a week or so...then decide whether to use it more frequently- drop one of the others I'm using maybe

Re: All Natural Shampoo
Yep, I would eventually like to use it once a day...especially if the stuff goes on sale. Says something about- or once a week ______________ on the bottle.
It doesn't lather as nice as the Pura d'or..if anyone is worried about that. I wash with a cheap natural shampoo first..helps a bit. Then I use the Hair Sonic for 1-2 minutes before letting it sit. Smells better than Pura d'or imo. One pump from either is enough for me.

Re: All Natural Shampoo
I was looking up sites posted in this thread..this was sad to come across:
http://www.truenorthorganic.com/category_s/1823.htmHello - This is Dan, the husband of Ashley, the Owner/Operator of True North Organic. Ashley died in a car accident on her way to her other full-time job Wednesday morning (Jan. 16, 2013). Ashley operated the company almost completely by herself with very little assistance from myself. She is the most amazing person that I have ever met! The company is going to be on-hold until I can figure out if there is any way to keep Ashley’s dream alive. I am going to try to get current orders shipped by the end of next week. However it may take longer, because even though I know how to make most of the orders, Ashley was the only one that new how to process the orders through the system. Thank you all for supporting Ashley’s dream of starting up and operating TNO and helping making a difference in the prevention of cancer and supporting animal rescue groups. Dan

Re: All Natural Shampoo
Weird... They don't send it to Belgium... I've never had that problem earlier and have bought numerous shampoos
Someone who's got too much bottles right now that I can buy maybe?

Re: All Natural Shampoo
Are you referring to The Skin Revolution one? They do have "Belgium" listed in the drop-down menu..but then it doesn't say how much shipping would be Doesn't say for Canada either though.

Re: All Natural Shampoo
A shampoo I used and loved years ago- especially the smell. Her site went down soon afterwards and when it did go back up the shampoo was no longer on there. http://www.abundantlifeessentials.com/h ... system.htm
Edit.. it says "The product is currently unavailable!" in the pink bar at the top. Not that I need or even have room for another shampoo at the moment..but eventually I'd like to use it again. Although if someone else..hint hint...can make one smell this good
