Can anyone rank these treatments???

Post by carey5050 » Mon Mar 19, 2012 11:00 am

Hello,

I am new to posting on this board but have been lurking around for awhile :D .

I keep hearing about all these different products but am confused as to which one is best/most effective...
Can anyone rank the following products as to which they would get in order of results... Dermaheal, Epsom, Lamas scalp serum, Actistem, Crescina, or any others that people really like. If I could only afford 1 or 2 of these products... What would you get?

Thanks for your help... I don't want to waste money on worthless products.

Hey Carey5050(Van Halen fan?)..welcome to the forum 8)

I wouldn't even want to try to rate all those..on being the most effective. And it doesn't help that I haven't used every one of them  I use a # of things at a time..just not one right on top of the other. IMO your best bet is to pick a couple of things that you think you could stick with for a good period of time. Something you could use in the morning and something you could use in the evening.

I know..not much help...

Thanks Jacob for your reply...

I ended up getting Crescina and Andalou scalp treatment (because it's cheap). I only use the Crescina every other day so I need at least one more treatment. I know you don't like recommending a treatment for someone else but I do believe you have tried the Dermaheal, Lamas, Epsom terminal 1 and 2, and Dermatopoietin 1-4... Can you at least tell me which one you liked best... Based on hair regrowth, smell of product and price...

I promise not to hold you responsible if it doesn't work for me :D

Well since it's so hard to tell on the regrowth(using them with other things)..price- Lamas for sure..and it smells decent. DermaHeal if you don't mind spending extra..it's clear and neutral smelling.

I've heard of most of these treatments, but what is Epsom? Does it have anything to do with the salt? I would love a link to the product or more information on it.
Thanks guys!
Steph :P

In my opinion the best thing to use is this:
1.bimatoprost (u need to dilute this with some cheap serum to last longer) that is where dermaheal comes in
2. Dermaheal hair serum (good overall but not effective alone) I use it as a mixer for bimatoprost
3. Rogain because even though it doesn't grow terminal hair, it helps to keep your hair, in vellous form that is. ( bimatoprost will help thicken it up)
This regimen should completely keep your hair, but it won't regrow dead follicles.

The ball is out as to whether latisse is any better than minoxidil and some do grow terminal hair with the latter there was a saying once that minoxidil will grow hair on a bald cocanut haha.
You have to use a dht blocker with minox and the only proved one at this time is propecia and maybe dutasteride im not so sure about the topical anti dht like spiro but could do no harm in using with the big two.
I do hate to have to say try the drugs as i like all would love to say use a natural product but over the many years of trying nearly every known natural going or recommended i lost further hair and wished i had kept to the proved products.
