Peter Lamas Chinese Herbs
I tried the Peter Lamas Chinese Herbs Stimulating Shampoo and Conditioner this week and I was very pleasantly surprised. You all know my love for all treatments that are natural and the 22 plus vitamins and herbal extracts in the shampoo really interested me. The shampoo claims to inhibit DHT build-up, stimulates the scalp and remove excess sebum from the scalp. I washed my hair with the shampoo and I had very little hair loss in the shower. I also tried the conditioner which also contains 27 plus vitamins and extracts and the results were exciting.
I wash my hair every two days and usually the next day after my shampoo, my scalp is itchy and oily but with the Peter Lamas shampoo and conditioner my hair was fluffy, light and thick and the third day, my scalp was still not oily. I am really excited with the results of the Peter Lamas Chinese Herbs and I want to try the scalp serum as well which I haven't tried yet.
I heard Jacob talked about using Peter Lamas but not until I tried it that I realised how effective the Chinese herbs line is.
I really look forward to see results in the long term using the Peter Lamas. And the best thing is that all the extracts are from organic origin and the shampoo is not stripping although it deeply cleanse the scalp with no SLS.
Cheers,
Natasha26

Yes on paper this is a good all rounder.
What youll notice is that the latest Spectral topical seems to work on smode of action which Lamas works on already.
Thanks

Re: Peter Lamas Chinese Herbs
Jacob, what products haveyou used in Peter Lamas?
I recently tried the Chinese Herbs Shampoo and Conditioner and they are great. The chinese herbs range really stimulate the scalp and my hair feels light and not oily at all after I wash it out.
I have been meaning to try the scalp serum as well. Have you tried the serum and is it good?

I believe Jacob has used the serum before and seemed to share the same opinion of you concerning the product range, I have been wanting to try it out myself but I guess I'll have to wait until the busy season is over.

Not that that will help..but you need to cheer up!
Didn't see your other post until now either(thanks Fizzball for the link). I've used all of the Lamas Chinese herbal line. My favorite is the hair gel/styling product. Still have not used anything else I like better. The serum I used for quite a long time...I did like it. Hard to say if it did anything since as usual I used other things along with it. The shampoo I used for years and years...and would be in my top 5..maybe even 3...although I'm currently not using it. I'm sure I'll be using them again in the future.
BTW...why does it say Nov 26 for today

Thanks for trying to cheer me up!
I have been using the shampoo and conditioner and it is good.
I am thinking of adding the serum into my regimen to see how it works.
For me it says Nov 27th!

Re: Peter Lamas Chinese Herbs
I have considered trying this line for quite a while now, I want to stick to one thing and this range seems to have all angles covered even stylising products and when it comes to our delicate hair styling... well...
Seeing as we are all talking about lamas again, perhaps someone could share a discount coupon here for everyone to use.
Apart from my totally natural Hair More shampoo/conditioner which is running out I'm not really onto anything and losing ground fast so this might be a reasonable start into something new (for me personally), I have also considered products from ds laboratories, namely the shampoo, conditioner and Spectral.F7 but am very skeptical about the latter as something just does not sit right with me concerning the release of such a product.
Hmm... No idea about the date, it must be some sort of sql issue.

There was a 20% one a bit ago..but I didn't keep the email. They *may* have a bigger one around New Years...I seem to recall one of these companies doing that.
Did a quick search on da web but didn't find any coupons or any other place selling the stuff cheaper.

I started losing my hair 5 years ago. The things that worked well are the hairmax comb, librow and rogaine for women.
You can read more about librow, hairmax reviews and women's rogaine reviews etc. to find out more. Also check out librow reviews and viviscal reviews for hair loss.

Re: Peter Lamas Chinese Herbs
Hello,
I also tried the Peter Lamas chinese herbs regenerating scalp serum and it's amazing on the scalp. I wouldn't use this as a hair loss treatment but more to help the scalp back into health.
I use it everyday and it really invigorates my scalp and it isn't oily at all. When I use a treatment for my hair loss and I'm using it after washing my hair it is important that it's not oily. The menthol gives it a really cool sensation on the scalp and I use one full dropper for daily application. I am really loving this serum and it fits well into my hair regimen. I also like the fact that it comes into a dropper bottle so you can just use it at convenience versus other treatments that are monodose and takes more time in applying.
I have been using the Peter Lamas Regenerating Scalp Serum for nearly two months now and I really like it. Combined with the shampoo and conditioner in the same range, this serum really gives an energy boost to the hair follicles. I notice less hair loss throughout the day when Im using the serum.
So this line is worth giving it try.

Re: Peter Lamas Chinese Herbs
Hi everyone,
I had forgotten all about my Peter Lamas Chinese Herbs shampoo, conditioner and serum that I had and have started to include these in my hair regimen this week and the results reminded me why I loved the products in the firstr place.
Now I know why Jacob think the Peter Lamas shampoo is one of the best, my hair feels like better combined with the conditioner and I am able to get loads of volume which is what anyone who has thinning hair wants.
I also followed with the serum and it left my hair feeling fresh and my scalp invigorated. Also, as I was losing hair as usual, I have noticed less shedding with the Peter Lamas stimulating serum. I will continue to use these for their fresh, invigorating and stimulating effect on the scalp.
I can't get enough of the Chinese Herbs Conditioner and serum, these two I love best. Jacob, have you used the styling range from Peter Lamas as well?

Yep..the styling cram is still my fav out of all those I've tried. The "mist" I thought was good for days when I didn't have time to mess with a topical and/or was planning on wearing a cap that day. I'd often use the styling cream afterwards as well.

Hi israelite,
The Peter Lamas Chinese Herbs range of shampoo, conditioner, scalp regenerating serum, and the rest of the range are a real concentration of botanical goodness. You know other hair products have a long list of ingredients but all chemical stuff? This one has a very long list of herbs and the more you use it, you notice a big difference in the hair and the scalp.
So, Maybe I will extend my range of Peter Lamas and include what Jacob has used.
Cheers,
Natasha

Hi Jacob, thanks for that.
Do you know, I was telling my friend the other that I live in like in the middle of nowhere country and that everything I buy, I need to do it via some friends or families in the states or europe and then ship to Mauritius!
I feel like retarded because I don't even have a credit card here!
I just bought a mask from Leonor Greyl and I need to wait like two whole months to get it here in Mauritius because my friend is currently away on holiday.

Is there any way to use a service such as Paypal to purchase things? I'm guessing there too you'd need or credit card or debit card.

Hi, yes for paypal as well you need a credit card but I have been trying to open a paypal account as it is suppose to be international. That too, many suppliers don't ship to Mauritius. I don't know if Amazon does.

I just want to chime in to say that I used this product for a long time with no real results. It does smell good and I like the shampoo, but for the price its overcharged.

Did this and/or the Crescina etc products halt your hair loss or slow it down?

Oh
Anyway, I meant to ask, has anyone ever tried Ducray shampoos for oily scalp because I did since last week and I have been surprised by its efficacy to control oiliness and giving great texture to the hair.
The Ducray shampoo is called Squanorm for oily dandruff and oily scalp. I feel my scalp is less suffocating and lighter with this shampoo which I alternate with more moisturising one. The key potent ingredient is salicylic acid, piroctone olamine and its signature ingredient which is Sabal Serrulata. Other shampoo has very low concentration of salicylic acid while this one is the 4th ingredient. It says to wash with this shampoo 2 times per week but I am currently using it everyday.
Would it be safe to say that all hair loss sufferers have oily scalp? Because, when you look at my hair, you would never guess that my scalp is oily and yet it is! And oily scalp equals oily dandruff which seems disgusting but it is fact. And the combination of oil and dandruff does clog the hair follicles and trigger more hair loss by weakening the hair at the root.

I noticed that the shampoo has an ingredient that says it's good for grey hair. I've been noticed a few grey hairs recently and it would be nice to use something that could help with that. For the people who are using the shampoo, have you noticed any difference in your hair color?

Re: Peter Lamas Chinese Herbs
Hi John,
I have some grey hairs too and the Peter Lamas shampoo hasn't help with that I am afraid. In fact, I have more grey hairs coming out all the time when I am only in my late twenties.
I know Phyto has a line just for preventing/delaying grey hair with an ingredient called tyrosine. The line is Phytodensium. I was using this line because I get very good results with botanical products and the serum was very good. It made my hair and scalp feel very light and alive. However, I have not been using the product consistently and for long to notice any result concerning grey hair.
P.S: I wanted to ask forum members here who care about their hair and want to correct their hair loss condition, do you think its normal that I spend so much on hair care when I could use that to go on vacation?
I mean, I know many people around me who suffer hair loss and I notice their thinning hair, but they don't give a damn about it. Either they not conscious that they are losing their hair or they really don't care. Either way, they think I am exagerating when they know what brands I use and to how much trouble I go to order these and wait to get them back here. For me, using the best hair care with products that really result in difference in my hair and hair loss make me feel better. If I don't care about my hair loss I feel crappy because it is a constant battle, it needs work always. Also, some hair products make me feel like a million bucks just the way they make my hair looks and feels without hair extensions, with only my miserable, I'd say less than 45,000 hair follicles that are still producing hair.
Cheers,
Natasha26

Re: Peter Lamas Chinese Herbs
I think its important to be and feel proactive in the fight against hair loss, its a terrible thing to go through one which I must struggle with every day of my life one which for me sadly amplified through my life for a variety of reason however I do feel a sense of achievement in my decisions to spend on my hair as it is ultimately for my well being both mentally and physically. I think most people really kick themselves for not starting the fight earlier as they now know they could have at least prolonged the life of their hair if they had just done some research and purchased the right products, I myself have recently started a new shampoo and conditioner and am extremely pleased with the results as they were immediately recognisable however I have not experienced any hair growth from my usage but despite that I am extremely happy and feel its a step in the right direction of which requires many steps in order to achieve a great result, beyond this I shall need to research a viable serum of sorts designed purely for hair regrowth however I am reluctant to try any minoxodil or Finasteride based product as I do feel its not within my bounds of comfort and in the best interest to my health, besides of which I am in the search for something better and less time consuming.
At this point all I want to do is maintain and regrow a bit here and there to improve my look and self esteem until something more tangible and long term appears such as histogen.
I guess you and I are on the same wave lengths when it comes to our sentiments towards hair loss however I must concede that I have not nearly attempted to try as many products as yourself... too many or not, its entirely up to you and as long as you are giving them a fair chance to work their mojo then I guess its fine. : )

Re: Peter Lamas Chinese Herbs
Thanks Fizzball for sharing this. I hope you find a great serum soon. Can I ask which shampoo and conditioner it is? I said in another post that I am using Nanogen vegf plant-derived growth factor and I am seeing results with new hair growth. I combine it with the Scalproller. It is more geared towards new regrowth than controlling hair loss just as Phytolium 4 but I like that they are both botanical in nature.
I am thinking of trying Viviscal supplements as well but not sure if it is really going to deliver results.
Cheers,
N

I'm currently using Revita Shampoo and Conditioner, I have considered nanogen but more so for its nanofibres in my weakest moments but ultimately I did not want to have it conflict with my experimentation with other products.
They have a few complimentary lines to choose from but it's a bit overwhelming however I may look into it again.

I think that when I was on the Lamas it slowed down the hairloss a bit after using for a while but really nothing to get too excited about. Crescina seemed to help less than Lamas.Jacob wrote:Did this and/or the Crescina etc products halt your hair loss or slow it down?

Re: Peter Lamas Chinese Herbs
I should also mention I am currently using a Vitamin C shower filter and I do feel it has contributed also to my overall skin and scalp condition.
I did however test both revita products and the Vitamin C shower independently and from the first time I used the revita shampoo and conditioner the results were instantaneous, I had become accustom to poor results after a shampoo and conditioning with various other products that as soon as I got out of the shower I knew I was onto something good (not to mention the nice sensation the conditioner gives you) and this was with my standard old shower head.
Once I combined the two Hair care products and Vitamin C shower head things moved to another level once again.
In one respect I am glad but in another I am not, if I can ever prove that the water quality was a result of my scalp condition and hair predicament I am going to launch a legal battle with the water board, in fact I may take a sample of water to be tested by an independent company, one retained from my filtered water and another without and see what sort of results I get.
I would strongly suggest people test the water quality in their respective regions and country as it may be a contributing factor in your scalp condition, the way I see it now is there is no point buying expensive hair care products only to wash it away with harsh chemicals such as chlorine (a common and cheap additive added to remove bacteria in water), there are lots of other things to consider but I guess a good idea would be just to do some research online on the affects of harsh water on the skin and hair.

Re: Peter Lamas Chinese Herbs
Fizzball, I am a firm believer that water does in fact affect hair and scalp condition. Hard water made my hair fall out in huge clumps while I was in UK, LIKE MORE THAN 300 HAIRS IN ONE HAIR WASH!
When I moved where I currently stay here in Mauritius, I experienced the same thing and nothing I used could do anything but I think your hair get used to it because it does not fall out like it did before using this water.
But I know for a fact that water does affect skin and hair condition but here you cannot do anything about it. So the best way I could protect my hair and scalp is using pre-shampoo oil and scalp treatments.

30% off the shampoo here...but the sale ends tonight. You should see a pop-up for $5 off if you're a new customer..so that would cover shipping.
