Question about this product!

Post by buhbyehair » Mon Aug 29, 2011 5:03 pm

I created a thread and don't know why it was deleted, but I'll try again. I am wondering if the shampoo "Fortalex PT" is a scam or not. I am wondering if this stuff actually works or if it's just %&$! like basically everything else. If you have used it, please let me know. Thanks!

There have been a # of these posts in other forums. I noticed some have been deleted at those as well.

How about posting the ingredients list...and time will tell if you stick around instead of dropping in only to post about the product :-s

Please don't close this thread. I'm not any person that works for a company to scam other balding individuals because that is dead wrong. I am a 20 year old guy with a slight receding hairline and am stressing beyond my limits over stupid hair. I just need to look for other people to talk to about my problem and just seeking help. If you want me to start posting regularly, I will do that and try to help other people as well. I just want to find a cure so I can go on with my life not worrying about something as dumb as appearance.

I would email them for the complete ingredients list....and post them here. If they can't give you that..plenty of other things to try. They also say "clinically proven" w/out anything to back that up with.

Do you think it is possible that it could actually be good?

Alright, so I ordered this product and it turns out that it's probably not 100% natural. I'm am still going to try the treatment to see if it works.

Here is the ingredient list of the shampoo:

Aqua, Ammonium Laureth Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Cocamidopropyl Hydroxysultaine, Glycol Distearate, Lauramide DEA, Cocamide MEA, Swertia Japonica Extract, Saccharum Officinarum (Sugar Cane) Extract, Citrus Medica Limonum (Lemon) Fruit Extract, Betaine, Hexylene Glycol, Pyrus Malus (Apple) Fruit Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Hexapeptide-11, Panthenol, Polyquaternium-7, Cocamide DEA, Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride, Citric Acid, Disodium EDTA, Methylchloroisothiazolnone, Methylisothiazolinone, Non-sensitizing Fragrance.

So, there you go. Once again, I am not saying that this product works until I see results. It's a scam until then.

I don't know what's wrong with you guys and not commenting on this. I have been using this product for 2 weeks and see some improvement. Once it becomes substantial, I will post pictures.

I think it's because there are similar products out there..doesn't seem to be anything unique about it. That and the crazy-sounding ingreds

Don't you mean IF it becomes substantial? It'd probably be best to post the before pictures now...get that out of the way.

To be honest, Jacob, I'm really embarrassed about my hairline. As I'm only 21, it is not as bad as others, but I am still very "naked" inside with this problem. I wish I could handle it "like a man", but I can't. If I happen to see growth with this, I'll share the pictures, but until then, just stay posted and I'll definitely let you guys know if this works for me.

Alright, I do not like doing double posts, but I will shed some news on this product. I am 3 weeks in and so far it seems to have SLIGHT results. While 3 weeks is literally nothing when it comes to the hair cycle, I will post pictures after 2 months of using it IF and ONLY IF it works. So, that date should be November 18, 2011. Stay tuned and hope it gets better from here!

Hi buhbyehair it is too early to say anything is working as even the hairloss drugs take up to at least 3-6 months to see any improvements if any,and i am fairly sceptical for a shampoo to regrow hair.
It may help as a combo the longest natural hair shampoo thats been on the market is nisim and i have tried that and no it did not grow or stop any hair loss,i myself now use regenepure which with the ingredience is the best on the market as it does not contain any L sulphate. :-"

Anyone else has used this product? I have been searching the internet for sold reviews and they are hard to come by so some more feedback would be appreciated.

Well i look at it this way. Fortalex is obviously a scam.

1. Their before and after pics on their site are obviously fake.

2. I can't find any customer of fortalex thats posted ANY before and after pics.

3. http://fortalexpt.wordpress.com/categor ... -fortalex/
this is obvioulsy a fake review. Notice the dates and notice that the posts mysteriously stop after the third month. Ie. When you should start seeing real results.
Try posting a question on the site asking for before and after pics and "mileslawson" will NEVER respond.
'
4. If Fortalex really worked as advertised you'd see and hear about it everywhere!! They claim to have cured hairloss through the use of a shampoo, that would litterally be worth BILLIONS and BILLIONS of dollars. Yet it difficult to find even one convincing before and after pic.

my conclusion Fortalex Pt is a scam, totally fake and Miles Dawson and Daniel Harrision "reviews" have no credibility.

Draw your own conclusions folks. Here's a transcript with one of the company's 'Hair Specialist Experts'

joe:
hi! your website states that Fortalex is clinically proven to make hair grow.
Can you tell me would clinical tests proved this out?
thanks
Welcome joe! Your request has been directed to the Fortalex PT Hair Specialist - Especialista del Cabello department. Please wait for our operator to answer your call.
Bienvenido joe! Su llamada ha sido dirigida al departamento Fortalex PT Hair Specialist - Especialista del Cabello. Por favor espere mientras nuestras operadoras atienden su llamada.
Call accepted by operator Carla. Llamada aceptada por la operadora Carla.
Carla:
en que puedo servirte
joe:
Well, firstly it would help if we used English... I don't know much Spanish.
Carla:
ok give me your telephone number one of our representatives is gonna call you bac thank you
joe:
Sorry.... my housemate is expecting a call. Can you answer my simple question online?
Carla:
okey please question
joe:
your website states that Fortalex is clinically proven to make hair grow.
Can you tell me what clinical tests proved this out?
joe:
are you still there?
Carla:
we are fortalex
joe:
Yes... i get that. can you answer my question? i thought you were the hair specialist.
Carla:
yes is comprovied for especialst of laboratory
joe:
Was this an independent third party?
Carla:
no are only fortalex
joe:
Let me see if I understand: clinically proven means that Fortalex is its own clinic testing its own product. Do I understand this correctly? joe:
are you still there. minutes go by before i hear back from you.
joe:
hello???? more minutes have gone by. the top banner still indicates that you're 'in the room'. are you there?
Carla:
I dont understed
joe:
I don't doubt that. Here's the question again (kind of for the 3rd time) tests on their products or are they tested by an independent third party? Carla:
give me your telephone for consultory
joe:
Does Fortelex perform its own clinical tests or are they performed by an independent third party?
As I said before, my housemate is expecting an important call. This is on a landline. Our cell phones won't work here because of the mountainous topography. I'm just looking for a simple answer to a very simple question. I didn't
mean anything more than that.
Carla:
tell me two hours
joe:
Why do you keep pressing me to talk to someone else on the phone? I thought you were the Specialist.
joe:
still there? some awfully long gaps in our conversation.
Carla:
yes is for speak the specialist
joe:
okay.... well i guess that should do it for now. thanks Carla! have a great day. You've been most helpful and enlightening.
Carla:
how much for questions
joe:
Now I don't understand. What do you mean by 'how much'? me? Never mind, just keyboarding out loud in a rhetorical way. joe:
Is this experience as existential for you as it is for Hello??? there seems to be another longgggggg gap in our conversation.
joe is now off-line and may not reply. Currently in room: Carla. joe is now on-line. Currently in room: joe, Carla.
joe:
oh no... am i online or off? i think i was cut off.
