Liposome Formulation for RU58841

Post by NegativeNorwood » Wed Apr 14, 2010 10:33 am

Hello can someone tell me how to go about this. Basically I need to make a liposome formulation.

Does anyone know how to make - Small unilamellar liposomes(SUV) containing 0.5% weight of [14C]RU58841 prepared with Lipoid E100s35(eggphosphatidylcholine > 94%)and R-tocopherolina 0.05 MphosphatebufferpH7 ??????

I have no idea about how to go about this has anyone done this or used a company to do it, costs etc? Preferably UK/Europe based.

Thanks

I would think you'd have a hard time finding someone who would be willing to do it for you, unless you're a company..researcher..etc. Doing it yourself....with the right equipment..sure. Then you actually have to know what you're doing. Actually get things encapsulated. Actually make it so it doesn't go bad- preservatives etc.

Your best bet is to just search for every liposome/encapsulating tech company..maybe put "custom" in the search..and just contact every one until you get lucky. Places such as http://www.advanced-biomedical.co.uk/

If that doesn't work..I'd next search places in S. Korea...etc etc.

So you're saying that company will encapsulate it for us?

He was just spamming Jacob.

But back on topic, I'm curious on the current status of RU58841. Any news?

AFAIK RU58841 is the most potent DHT blocker through topical use, am I correct?
Are there other alternatives through topical application?

Yeah I figured that although he/she didn't have the link in other posts. Kind of a strange spam though too..a big company like that. I've posted about them before..they have that do-it-yourself liposome thingy.

Don't know about your other questions. There are some long threads on other forums about it..I don't pay much attention to them since it's been talked about forever it seems..and I have no desire to buy the stuff from who-knows-who who's getting it from who-knows-where-and it's supposedly pure etc.

Now if they above mentioned company could obtain it and encapsulate it...show a COA or whatever for the ingredient..etc...I think it'd get much more interesting.

The problem with ru is stability and where to get reliable content, there was faith eagle and a guy in canada and also elite pharmacy did say if enough of us contacted them they would consider mixing some up.
But i did post this on various sites but nothing came of it and also what about gen hair topical antiandrogens mixed with minox. :-"
