I tried the increased version a litle bit ago, but it did nothing. I kinda wonder if this product even contained tb4.

I wonder too...although...I had contacted those that have the patent rights for the TB4 and hair growth...and they were very surprised that this company had this product out. I just went to the website and I do not see this product there anymore. None of the hair related and TB4 links work:
http://www.actistem.com/hairfaq.html
http://www.adistem.com/peptide.html
http://www.adistem.com/application/hair-growth.htm

So maybe it did contain it..and they got chewed out for it. :-s

I think that this product was ruled a scam officially by legal authorities in Australia was forced to suspend its operations, I'm not 100% sure but someone may have reported them to the TGA or something.

I wouldn't quote me on the above but there has been some busts on scammers in Australia advertising hair loss products. (god knows why leimo is still around though)

I contacted RegeneRX, which is a company that is currently putting tb4 through drug trials. I've contacted them twice in the last 6 months and they've yet respond to my emails. All I want to know is if they would produce a product containing tb4 that could be used for hairloss. Really, is it that hard to respond to a damn email?

If they can make it..no, they can't sell it in a hair loss product. Not sure if they can sell it in a skin product either.

Does anyone know how one could get ahold of TB4? I remember when the old company Neosil went through two trials of tb4 and it seemed really promising.

I think the problem is stability. Some tried it at Hairsite years ago..seemed to help at first and then it faded away. Unless a company like Lee's Pharm(that has the patent rights for hair loss) is going for FDA approval...they too must be having problems with stability and/or delivery. You would think they'd know by now if it "worked".

I've been trying to contact RegeneRX because they're currently working with TB4 for certain conditions. They also have a section where they mention using TB4 for cosmetic reasons. The website is http://www.regenerx.com if anyone is interested in trying to contact them about producing a product for hairloss. Maybe someone might have better luck in contacting them and getting some information.

They may already be working on something..I forget now if they have the rights to use it for hair loss..maybe they do- for the USA/North American regions. I know Lee's Pharm and Panacea Biotec have the rights for their areas...I think Lee's Pharm is able to sell the rights to others..since they they got the rights from the NIH.

I first posted about TB4 in..I think...2003. That's how long they've been working on it

At least Lee's hasn't given up on it..it's still listed as being "Preclinical": http://www.leespharm.com/en/product_self.php

Click on it though and it states:
Thymosin 4 is known for its potential for hair growth promotion. It will be investigated for its potential of reversing or reducing chemotherapy
induced alopecia
. Thymosin beta 4 is a small 43-amino-acid molecule that has multiple biological activities, including promotion of cell migration
angiogenesis, cell survival, protease production, and wound healing.
I'm not sure if I've read that before. I wonder if they've given up on using TB4 for AA/MPB.

Yeah, regenerx may be working on something for hairloss, but we may never know since they don't respond to emails.

Someone found another site selling TB4, but it's a Japanese product. This was posted on another hairloss forum so thanks for the info. I don't know if this product is legit or not, so I might have to do some futher searching to find out.

Here it is: http://www.tb4-7.com

I wrote the company who makes this product an email asking if this actually contains Thymosin Beta 4. Also, the website said that this product costs 8,900 yen, which is about $115. I'll keep everyone updated when I get a response.

I wrote the company an email and someone actually wrote back. Very unusual. O:)

Anyway, the company is selling the product to Japanese only sites, but they're currenly in the process of selling this product to other countries. They also said that this product does contain Thymosin Beta 4(TB4), so that's kinda cool. I don't know if it works or not, but it's worth checking out.

I'm going to write them another email to get some more information. I'll keep the forum updated.
