I've been getting some minor chest pains while using this product. Do you think this is causing the chest pain?

Alex..did you post something similar elsewhere? If not..I swear I read someone else asking about some side effect. Seems strange it'd do that though...

No, I didn't post that on another message board. It does seem kinda weird that it would cause chest pain, but this is the only product I'm using.

I haven't recognized any side effects.

They altered their first answer in the FAQ's. Now it is one month, instead of one week. I had a feeling this morning that they could have changed something and looked it up. Finally my intuition was right... But looks arbitrary now....

hulihoop wrote:Phil, growing new hair is one thing but thickening hair that is already present should be easier, wouldn't you think? I mean you don't have to reactivate a follicle that is present but not producing. Wouldn't it just help the follicle produce healthier, more viable hair? Have you seen any signs of that? I use a microscope and it is one of the first things I look for a few weeks or so after starting a new treatment (that and scalp condition). If the scalp condition doesn't appear to be improving or if the existing follicles aren't looking better then I find it a bit of a stretch (not impossible, but a stretch) that is going to grow hair, especially in a short time.
I am not using a microscope or any other things like that. I am relying on my personal feelings and often I use random samples to veryfy my hair loss (e.g. after having a shower, I count shed hairs or I give hairs a tug and observe how easily they were fallen out.

Therefore I cannot answer your question regarding thickening. My method is just observing if there is a reduction of hair loss. Maybe I cannot judge as early as it is possible if you use a microscope, nevertheless after time and a thickening of hairs, there should be a reduction. So I can give you a delayed answer. :)

I am now at 6 weeks and on my second tub, I'm only using it on my hairline and nape of my neck. I would say it is making a difference, although it could be the lamas, I've got 2 terminal hairs about an inch kind in the middle of my temples so something is happening. I'll probably stay with it for 2 more months.

I guess my hair loss reduction is sustainable. I am very interested to see what will be in a month. So far I am optimistic, but not 100% convinced. For an 100% conviction I would appreciate to see little regrowth. I guess time will tell and for a month of application I am absolutely satisfied.

I hope it continues well and I have no illusions :-)

Me? I use TB4 at night and Lamas is my lunchtime topical, I only use it once a day. I did do the 1 hour after TB4 use Lamas but now I try to stagger the applications.

I've been using this product for a month now and I haven't seen any results. I've read about TB4 years ago, and how well it can regrow hair. I know 1 month isn't a long time, but I read a study a few years ago saying that it can regrow hair very quickly.

It said "Statistically significant increase in the number and density of terminal hairs after only two 14-day rounds of once daily treatments separated by a month of no treatments. " That was from the Neosil trial or whatever there name was.

Ok, now your posting makes more sense in the whole context. Nevertheless bad news.

I think we have to take it at least 3/4 month to evaluate this stuff (especially concerning regrowth), but earlier results are welcomed. :o

I think those studies refer to PSI which does work in 15 days period for me grew many many new hairs all over and thickened existing in only 14 days.Unbelievable.Unfortunately my next batch wasnt the same consistency and color and didnt work at all.The hair i grew was only from 100 mg total made in custom topical distilled water and alchohol. The group buy fizzled out because of these issues and no longer able to get a reliable source.i paid $150 for 100 mg but i feel if i could do a round once per month, it probably would be a cure for me with how drastic the results were. However, it must be legit because the second batch just caused alo of inflammation.TB4 was shown to grow hair in believe 5 days but the concentration was 5% topical and this product only cotains 1mg per jar.So maybe over months it might do something. If we could get TB4 at 5% i think it would work well however ive never used it.I ordered 100 mg a few years ago but my stepdad threw it away thinking it was cocaine lol!

And is there nowadays a chance to get it? I think Actistem/Adistem should have this stuff in stock?

110 Euros per month would be acceptable, if it works well.

And moreover Adistem could try to increase the concentration in a jar from 1mg to 2-3mg or more.

I would say aroung III - IV on the scale, i am a diffuse thinner (buzzed) so it is hard to be exact. Started losing it approx 15 years ago. Been on these forums particularly HLH for most of those years, and to date the big 3 Dut, Minox, Niz are the only products that have shown any improvement. IMHO everything else is useless. The search goes on! :D

I wrote them an email asking about the low dosage (1mg) and this is what they said:

Hi *******,

Thank you for your excellent suggestion. Actually, this plan is already in the works. Once ready, we will post this on our website, http://www.ActiStem.com. Please do check back often for updates.

Best Regards,

Ina

I stopped using this product because of the chest pains/weird heart burn I was getting from it. It's the same symtoms I had when I used Innovate years ago. I'm sure some of the veterans here remember the 6bap product that was all the rage back then. Oh well.

I suggested that that rather than having their product contain only 1mg per jar that they up the dosage, say 3 to 4mg per container.

The only update I've seen is someone at Regrowth posting this: http://www.heraldsun.com.au/news/victor ... 1112951994

One has to wonder what is being used to preserve it and/or who knows what else..when you can't get the ingreds out of them.

we are waiting from him to post some personal photos and some who dr paspaliaris and one clinic gave him with other good results (as he says)
also i would like to say that the doc gave him a multipeptide(as he told us) into the regaine and told him to take it for one year and then stop it

I went to their website and it seems that they're making a new topical with a higher dosage of TB4. When, and if, it comes out it would be nice if they could give us the ingredients list.

From the site:

"We are currently trialling a more potent formula with ten times more AdiStem TB4-7™ Peptide (10mg) in a more liquid lotion base and contained in a larger 100ml bottle."

It seems like they are going from one extreme to another.

Im think the dosage did need to be increased - however Im just wondering of the safety of such an increase to 10 mg.

This is starting to get interesting,

Thanks

They have upgraded there formula from 1mg of tb4-7 to 10mg . 10 times stronger.
Will this stronger version work as the science behind tb4-7 seems very solid

If they can't give you the ingreds list...it matters not what they claim. Something is very fishy when all this time they refuse to give you the list of ingreds...even refusing to respond to such emails.

Unless I missed where they actually did finally say what they are....

I really have lost interest in this.

They should have tested the 1mg initially before selling the stuff.

I would be tempted to try an alternative like Thymuskin if you interested in this line of thinking.

I'm now more interested in finding out more about what can "regenerate" the damage done in hairloss rather than just lowering the "immune response" alone.

Thanks

Really? That's some extreme lighting changes on both of them. I think if a company is going to be honest about their product they'll at least try to have less drastic changes in the type of before after photos they put up. That coupled with them being consistenly untransparent about what they're putting into it screams dodgy to me. You guys should really be more critical of this sort of thing, there's good reason many of us don't put much stock into a company's photos.

I have taken the 1mg version over 3/4 month. At the beginning I thought it might help, but later there was no terminal hair regrowth. So I stopped taking the 1mg version. They said that you regain all your lost hair, but I guess no one here was able to see a long-term improvement. Therefore I do not trust them anymore.

I do not say that this new version will show the same disappointments like the old one, but I am not willing to spend a high amount of money for this "new product" at the moment.

I lost trust and now it is not my turn to restore the faith in this product. I guess if this stuff really works, then it would be appropriate to send some samples to users in this forum here / old customers.

I would appreciate if others here try the new formula and share some information about it. But as long as they do not send me some samples, I refuse to order the new formula.

Ha,...this what i really want to know too, it makes me more cautious, the bottle only put "ActiStem", only this, why they dont put anything else?? and why they dont answer the four or five emails i sent to them asking about this???, i dont know...this and the photos, that they are a little strange and sometimes it seems for me that is not the same guy.

Otherwise im going to use it, i cant use the Minox due to side effects and my hope is find a good substitute, im going to try this and the dermaheal serum, will see.

Maybe, im putting "snake oil" in my head, who knows??. Hope that this is makes more better than worse.
