Longhairlovers Luxe Rare Hair Oil(2nd most expensive topical?)

Post by Jacob » Mon Nov 09, 2009 8:27 pm

http://www.longhairlovers.com/rare_hair_oil.html

"Patent-Pending Triple Refined Emu Oil & Essential Oil Blend"

Also contains Neroli oil..something I was looking at some time ago..in Elsom's "Formulator".
Organic "Live" Olive Oil Imported from Italy
This remarkable oil (the most expensive on the market today) comes from rare olives that grow at exceptionally high altitudes in the Tuscan mountains. The fruits are harvested by hand and cold pressed using a unique "Live Oil" method that keeps the antioxidant polyphenol content remarkably high.

This high concentration of antioxidants destroys free radicals (caused by tobacco smoke, alcohol, stress, lack of sleep and pollution) that can damage scalp cell membranes and lead to scalp problems, hair loss and slow growth. When massaged into the scalp, the polyphenols help promote a healthier scalp, faster hair growth and greater hair thickness.

Patent-Pending Triple Refined Emu Oil & Essential Oil Blend
This highest-grade emu oil easily penetrates the scalp taking our hair growth-promoting essential oil blend directly to the hair's root. This is because emu oil is a completely neutral lipid that is not blocked by the human skin's natural defense system.

Once at the root, Emu Oil acts as a powerful anti-inflammatory that stimulates the hair's natural growing ability. Our essential oil combination has been scientifically shown to promote hair growth in test subjects. We use the highest grades essential oils available (some topping $70 an ounce) of organic Thyme Linalol, Rosemary Verbenone, High-Altitude French Lavender and Virginianna Cedarwood.

Organic Saffron imported from Spain
The world's most expensive spice has been used for ages to stimulate hair growth and to give hair an immediate, radiant sheen.

Organic Neroli imported from Tunisia
The very finest Neroli (at $270 an ounce), one of the most coveted and expensive essential oils available, stimulates cell growth and soothes sensitive scalps while imparting a delicate orange blossom scent.

Natural Vitamin E
The highest grade all-natural tocopherol to preserve the product without added chemicals.
If for any reason you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase from ICP/Longhairlovers, simply return it with your receipt for a 100% refund - NO QUESTIONS ASKED!

Wow so lack of sleep can cause hair loss according to this persons study, I can see that as an issue with some people and there may be a link but further studies would be needed for me to outright say that it is definitely a contributing factor.
Its something for me to look at on a personal level though and add it to my studies.

btw this bottle of liquid gold seems too good to be true.
Don't mistake my optimism for stupidity

I strongly thought bout this back when I was younger and desperate. I looked into it and even read black hair care forums and I can tell you its WAY over priced. I can get you the same oils for 1/4th the price.

But was the feedback mostly positive? I searched a little and saw some positives..but I think with the price there aren't that many using it.

I wonder if Elsom has these in their Formulator...or could get them :-s

Hello everyone, as you all know I am desperate to try all things that are natural to halt further hair loss and regrow my hair.

I have used the longhairlovers shampoo, conditioner, leave-in treatment and shea-mu hair butter for a year and it was great on my hair. My hair soften and grew longer and I think with continued i would have seen more results but I am so impatient that I just switch treatment.

Now I will get hold of my precious bottle of Rare hair oil retailing at 400 dollars, I really hope this works for me. I will update and give my feedback on this oil in due time.

Wow..hope you have some success with it. Last time I looked they were out of stock...looks like it's available again. Did you mean $400? Or I see they have a new smaller size for around $100.

Natasha..please keep us updated 8)

I was doing a search for Saffron in the various hair loss forums..didn't see much talk about it. A Google search comes up with quite a bit though. Yeah..I know..just about anything you search for can get you that...but it looks to be an interesting ingred.

Hello,

I have been using the longhairlovers rare hair oil a couple of times now and its really amazing.

As soon as you apply it, you feel an immediate tingling sensation that you know the stuff is working. I let it sits all night before washing the next day and my hair feels and smells fantastic.

This is one oil that I will continue using to see effective long term results.

They have the smaller format of 1 oz that is more affordable than the 4 oz bottle and it can lasts easily 6 months if using 3x per week.

1 oz will last 6 months?

Is it greasy after applying it?

Hi Jacob,

The wedding went great, and my hair behaved well! Can I post pictures of the wedding?

Yes the bottle of 1 oz which I am using is actually for a six-month use and if you apply like half a dropper (it comes in a dropper bottle) per application, it is enough to cover the whole scalp.

Its not very greasy due to high content of essential oils in it and I actually went out with the oil in my head yesterday! I would say its not greasy but some people may want to wash their hair if they are not used to oiling their hair.

The texture and consistency is semi solid at room temperature so you may want to run it under hot water before applying the oil due to emu oil content.

Cheers,
N

I'm over here \:D/

Feel free to ask away..but I hope others jump in with responses/answers as well.

The study is on alopecia areata..but still good. Did anyone else end up getting this Luxe product? I wish it were a shampoo..it'd be easier to fit into my regimen
