Zenagen
I e-mailed them to inquire as to their ingredients in the shampoo, heres the response I got
Why do we not include the ingredients
online, it is a very complicated issue involving the protection of our
intellectual property rights of our product. Our product is minoxidil
free, it blocks DHT via inhibition of SHBG inhibition, we have a unique
dermal penetration vehicle that helps deliver out proprietary formula to
the deep dermal layers, and using advanced proprietary research have a
very unique isolated cascade of proprietary flavones that are
revolutionizing the science of hair loss.
We will be updating our website as soon as the intellectual property
concerns are resolved (should be within the next 30 days).
They also offered to let me test the product and report my results.

Re: Zenagen
If that is true then no one would be able to reproduce their ingredients anyhow. I doubt many people will buy this without knowing the ingredients. At least people who know betterwe have a unique dermal penetration vehicle

Re: Zenagen
Almost forgot...
Plus it appears that they are sending fake posters to forums now. Seems like the same cycle all over again.

Re: Zenagen
I'm waiting to hear back from them regarding the free trial, until then I will remain skeptical.

Re: Zenagen
The fact that they won't post the ingredients has me very hesitant. At the very least, I want to make sure the shampoo doesn't have SLS in it.Ryand2 wrote:I'm waiting to hear back from them regarding the free trial, until then I will remain skeptical.
Also, the fact that people report burning sensation & dry hair has me holding back as well, same with the lack of pictures.

Re: Zenagen Scam
I agree, the Zenagen site looks like a scam. I tried to find info on the manufacturers but I cannot find any other mention or trace of this firm. They also claim to have produced several other products, however none was listed on their site. Methinks a Scam is afoot.

Re: Zenagen
I actually ordered a bottle and will try this out together with Scalpure.
The customer support was really top notch, but what that has to say for the product I do not know. What is weird is that they say to only use the shampoo every 3 or 4 days, they really stress this point. I think it is because they claim it penetrates so deeply etc. A bit weird if they wanted to scam people to recommend them to use the product sparingly.
But, anyway, I wrote down the ingredients as they are written on the back of the bottle. Any spelling mistakes are from the bottle (granted, some may have been introduced by me, but I wanted to point out that the bottle actually have a few itself). I can't really see anything special, I don't know if any experts here can see what it is that giving the product it special deep penetration they claim? The Zenagen herbal mixture seems to be Saw Palmetto, Red Clover and Tea Tree as far as I can see...
Here are the ingredients:
Water, Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate, Ammonium Laureth Sulfate, Cocamide Mea, Coconut Coco Nucifera) Extract, Propylene Glycol, Silk Amino Acids, Honey Mel) Extract, Nettle (Urtica Dioica) extract, Ammonium Chloride, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Fragrance parfum, Ammonium Xylenesulfonate, Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose, Isopropyl Palmitate, Tetrasodium EDTA, DM Hydantoin, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylixothiazolinone, resemary rosmarinus Officinalis) Extract, Glycol Stearate, Cethyl Palmitate, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Zenagen Formula [a proprietary extract blend Serenoa repens, Trifolium pretense, Camellia sinensis, trimethylxanthiane, Melaleuca alternifolia extract], Cetyl Alchohol, Cetrimonium Chloride, Potassium Chloride, Fragrance (Parfum), Distearyldimonium Chloride, Disodmium EDTA, Glycerin, 2 Bromo 2 Nitropropane 1, 3 Diol

Re: Zenagen
Hahah... I wasn't gonna say it but yeah, I don't see how one's fondness of Mylie Cyrus is in any way relevant to balding.
